This tour will leave you breathless! There are so many fascinating things to discover in the majestic Tower of London, one of the most iconic places to visit in this magical city.
With your Blue Badge guide you will have pre-booked tickets so you won't have to wait in line at the ticket office to purchase them! Kids will be enthralled through a range of stories and anecdotes and the tour will be a great experience for all. The Tower of London is a 900-year-old castle and fortress in central London, notable for housing the crown jewels and for having held many famous and infamous prisoners.
You will see the most important parts of the castle coming face-to-face with some of the most famous gemstones in the world and viewing close-up a selection crowns, diadems, scepters and dozens of pieces of golden plate.

Parts of the Tower are not pushchair friendly due to the cobbled ground. Buggy parks are located in few areas.
There are a large number of steps throughout the Tower with cobbles laid in some of the surfaces and pathways. There are some low doorways.
If you get there by taxi, as the Welcome Centre is on a pedestrian street, tell the driver to drop you off on Petty Wales.
Nearest undergroud station is Tower Hill
Comfortable shoes are recommended
Please wear warm clothing during the winter as it can get really cold
Please be aware that the queue for the Crown Jewels can be long in the high season
You will see the Crown Jewels but guiding in the galley is not allowed

2.00While the tour guard was knowledgeable, he did not have a very energetic personality and I did not enjoy him trash, talking our president of the country I’m from while on the tour and pushing his beliefs on us. Was not interactive and pretty dull definitely was not worth the money. I would’ve rather just toured it myself.

5.00Lucy gave us a great day at the Tower of London. We were a family with 2 kiddos ages 9 and 7. We were a little early and she met us and got us right into the line so when we got in we were able to head straight to the Crown Jewels with no lines! She had shown us pictures and told us stories beforehand so it was great that we knew what we were looking at since tour guides can’t go inside that portion. Afterwards she took us through the other sites with engaging stories that helped our kids really envision what had happened there. While the tour is geared toward children, my husband and I also felt like we learned a lot and enjoyed the storytelling as we navigated the various areas. I would highly recommend this tour for families and it was well with the price to have a guide to answer questions and tailor to the interests of your family rather than following around the huge tour groups that we saw there.

5.00This tour company was great during our stay in London. Kids ages were 6 and 3. We booked online ahead of time and it was as described. Dan was our tour guide for the Tower of London. He engaged the kids quickly, provided us with a lot of background about the tower before going in, and kept things interesting for both adults and kids. He was good at taking us to certain areas when the lines were short. He also knew when to take breaks to help keep the kids entertained and interested. And he helped us avoid areas that were less interesting. Great use of our time in London!

5.00Took my 10-year-old nephew on a trip to London and we had a WONDERFUL time w Charlotte! He was very quiet and I couldn't tell if he liked it, but the whole rest of the trip he told everyone it was one of his top three activities. Charlotte was excellent - did a really awesome job engaging my nephew and teaching about the Tower of London at his level. I am so glad we went with this guided tour!!

She knew exactly where and when to go to avoid long lines. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her on this Tower of London tour.

5.00We had a fantastic private tour of the Tower of London with Mark! He kept our whole family—two adults and three kids (ages 11, 9, and 5)—completely engaged and entertained for the full three hours. Our oldest, who is a history enthusiast, especially loved it. Mark was energetic, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor that connected with both the adults and the kids. He brought the stories of the Tower to life in a way that was fun and memorable for all of us. Highly recommend!
