Our Uluwatu & Kecak Dance Tour will take you on a half day journey to some of the top spots in Uluwatu, finishing with the famous Balinese Kecak dance as the sun sets over the beautiful Uluwatu Temple.
Uluwatu is one of the must-see destinations in Bali, known for its stunning beaches, cliff top ocean views, the famous Uluwatu Temple and fascinating local culture.
This all-inclusive half day tour will begin in the afternoon, when you’ll be picked up from your hotel by your own personal driver and tour guide. A member of our lovely team who will make it their mission for you to have a great experience!

2:00 PM – Pick up at your hotel (exact time may vary depending on your location)
3:00 PM – Arrive at Balangan Beach
4:30 PM – Visit Uluwatu Temple
6:00 PM – Watch the famous Balinese Kecak Dance
7:00 PM – Return back to your hotel

Balangan Beach
Balangan Beach is one of Bali’s most popular and most scenic, featuring a gorgeous half-kilometer stretch of golden sand bordered between vegetated limestone cliffs and a reef with one of the longest left-hander breaks on the island. This surfing paradise attracts wave riders from around the world, who enjoy most of the south-western Bukit coastline together with Balangan’s sister breaks of Dreamland, Impossibles, Padang Padang, Suluban and Uluwatu further south.
Pantai Uluwatu
Uluwatu Temple, or Pura Luhur Uluwatu, one of six key temples believed to be Bali's spiritual pillars, is renowned for its magnificent location, perched on top of a steep cliff approximately 70 meters above sea level. This temple also shares the splendid sunset backdrops as that of Tanah Lot Temple, another important sea temple located in the island's western shores. Pura Luhur Uluwatu is definitely one of the top places on the island to go to for sunset delights, with direct views overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean and daily Kecak dance performances. Balinese architecture, traditionally-designed gateways, and ancient sculptures add to Uluwatu Temple's appeal.

1.00Tourist trap I don’t recommend, we could barely watch the dance, going on the top of the statue to see nothing. Unfortunately a tremendous waist of our time.

5.00My husband and I were on our honeymoon and had Mega for 3 different tours. He was the best guide and I highly recommend requesting him if you book with Forever Vacation. This was our final tour with Mega. He is very knowledgeable of the process to get tickets for the dance so we don’t have to stress at all. He gave us an informative tour of the temple and explained the culture to us as well as the various aspects of the temple. He waited for us after the dance was over so we didn’t get lost in the sea of people. He also always has water available for you and will make sure you are well hydrated. We greatly enjoyed our time with Mega. He was a joy to be around and made sure we were well taken care of. We miss him already!

5.00The Uluwatu temple is a must see in Bali, and the Kecak dance is amazing for those who like to experience the culture on your trip. Our guide Mega toured us for multiple trips on our vacation, but went above and beyond on this one to make sure we had good seats for the show, got to see the temples, and received great background info of all the stops in Uluwatu

5.00Turah Rai was amazing again, wonderful conversation and so easy to talk to. He made sure everything was taken care of when we went to balangan beach. The beach itself was amazing, the scenery was so picturesque. He also brought each of us a specialty cake that was absolutely delicious! Finally he made sure everything was taken care of for our visit to Uluwatu Temple, from warnings about the Monkeys stealing your items to how to wear a sarong correctly! Turah is amazing, would highly recommend him again and again!

5.00Awesome from Nicky group of people and very organised. Aprio and Aji was our driver and guide, he took us to all the activities, explained culture to us. They were very prompt. Would recommend this group if planning some adventures in Bali. Will use them again in the future.

5.00Everything was great! Our tour guide/driver Mega did an amazing job navigating us around the areas and making us comfortable. He even helped take photos and ensured we got the best experience from the tour. Mega’s experience and expertise was very helpful and he had heaps of knowledge about the areas and culture and history. He also takes great photos and can expertly and safely navigate the busy and narrow streets of Bali. Awesome tour guide! Thank you again for having us. 5.00What a show! Absolutely worth seeing at sunset. I had to change my date of visiting the show, the group were happy to accommodate. However, the online tickets had sold out. We had Sutha the previous day for the Instagram tour so I requested him again to take us Kecak show. He was very responsive and helpful to make sure we were able to secure a ticket on the day. Sarongs were given at the entrance. He sat in the queue patiently whilst we explored the ULUwata temple. We were able to eat in a cafe also before the show. Be careful of the monkeys, they are clever! I put everything away in my bag, sunglasses and anything a monkey could take off me! There are guards arounds that can help incase any of your possessions are taken by a monkey. Sutha managed to secure our tickets and we went in around 5pm to make sure we had a good seat. We sat for an hour so I would recommended bringing a hand fan , hat etc as it was hot. Water was given to us whilst we waited and a script in English explained the story of the show. At 6pm the show started, and what a show it was with the back drop of the sunset. At the end of the show, you are able to take photos with some of the characters of the show.
