St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel can close without notice on rare occasions. If this happens, your guide will take you to tour the Vatican Museums and/or the Sistine Chapel/St Peter's Basilica instead

5.00I have done a similar tour before- but this one was MUCH better. We went through the museum area pretty quickly, but that was to be expected. She gave us plenty of time in the Vatican and I didn’t feel rushed. The guide was easy to understand and knowledgeable.

1.00This tour is slow paced and very detailed. It was far too slow and in depth for my family. Our kids are 8, 14 and 17 and all were begging to quit in the first 1/2 hour. You skip the line but it takes 2 hours to get to the Sistine Chapel anyway because you have to listen to the entire tour first. Definitely not what I thought I was booking. Probably good for small groups of adults but not a tour to book with kids.
