  If you’re looking for a day out of the city to enjoy some stunning views I recommend this tour. Not only do you get to enjoy the views of White Cliffs of Dover, you also get up close and really get to take it all in. Followed by some time in Canterbury after, this time is yours to make it your own personal experience doing your own activities that you enjoy most. Plenty of time to walk around the town, have lunch and pop into the amazing Canterbury Cathedral. It is something else. Our tour guide (Aisha apologies if spelt wrong) and bus driver Rohan were fantastic. Heaps of interesting information, with some great stories and a little bit of wit made it a really enjoyable day. We felt looked after and well guided. Thanks so much for such a memorable day!!

  We took the White Cliffs of Dover & Historic Canterbury Day Tour from London through Viator, and it was fantastic from start to finish. Both our tour guide and bus driver were wonderful — we felt completely safe and well taken care of the entire day. The guide was knowledgeable, kind, and had such a warm personality. She even sang “The White Cliffs of Dover” for us, and her voice was amazing — such a special touch! She also gave clear and helpful directions for exploring the historic town of Canterbury, which made it easy to make the most of our free time there. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable day outside of London!

  An absolutely fantastic experience! Wonderfully slowing down and a great counterpart to hectic London. Our guide Lucy couldn't have preferred not to be and even sang live for us on the bus. She inspired us with an extensive knowledge of the historic city of Canterbury.

  Wonderful day spent touring White Cliffs of Dover, Dover, and Canterbury. Tour guide, Lucy, very knowledgeable and personable. Ride comfortable.

  Fantastic trip and guide! Be prepared to WALK though! Dover Castle especially was very hilly. I spent most of the trip with sore feet, but enjoyed the experience all the same.

  Bus was not where they said it would be, due to road work. Bus driver kept walking from actual location to scheduled location making it easy to still catch Bus. Driver did great job with commentary and keeping us informed.

  Dover Castle is AMAZING, worth the entrance ticket. So is Canterbury Cathedral, but it was expected. I had trouble getting to the meeting point at 7.30 on a Sunday (tube was mixed up), I managed but for 7 minutes and they were waiting for me since I wrote to explain!!!

  Fabulous experience with a great amount of time to enjoy the cliffs or the castle and also Canterbury. It was a perfect day away from London filled with facts, history and beauty!

  Very good tour. Our bus driver Michelle was very friendly and competent. Our tour director Lucy was friendly and knowledgeable.

  Bus driver was late. Drive through Kent was nice. It was raining when we reached the cliffs. Option of only a quick walk along the cliffs to Lighthouse (not good if you walk slow) and then off to Dover Castle (extra cost) or spend all your time walking the cliffs. Not able to spend a little time in the town of Dover. We were hoping to see the cliffs from ground level. We booked this tour so we could walk the cliffs so that is what we did. High tide so couldn't get to the beach. You don't get the best view of the cliffs from the top but it was OK. Shame the tour didn't go to Canterbury first as just as we were leaving the Cliffs the sun came out. Enjoyed Canterbury (very crowded) and afternoon tea at a nice teahouse. Didn't like the local guide asking for tips for herself and the driver.
