  Great day exploring the Amalfi Coast. This was my first time travelling solo so i was a bit nervous signing up for a day trip myself. I was picked up by a taxi driver and dropped off on a street further away without being told much other than to wait for the others to turn up which was slighly unnerving. Eventually a bus did appear and i joined the others. The rest of the trip was great with enough time in both Amalfi and Positano. Long sail along the coast, but definetely recommend.

  Not really what we expected. The shopping was mostly tourist shops that sold basically the same things. The “tour” consisted of the boat operators stating facts about the Amalfi Coast and surrounding cities over the loud speaker. The biggest disappointment, however, was the lack of communication to/from the dock. The tour company provided a meeting location a day or two prior. We met there at the correct time with the only directions being “a driver will wait for you”. Once picked up, we were driven to another location and told to follow someone else. We had no other information given about where we were going or what to expect. We eventually walked to a dock/ticket station and were told to wait. Again, no other direction given. We eventually figured out we needed to check in with the ticket office and we’re finally told what time we were expected to depart (which was an hour later). As departure approached, we realized we were actually part of an extremely large “tour” group consisting of at least 100 people. Coming back was much the same, with little direction/information given. Overall, the experience wasn’t terrible, but definitely was not expecting the lack of communication and to become part of such a large “tour”.

  Our tour started from Pompeii where the legendary Gennaro picked us up to take us to the boarding in Torre del Greco. With sympathy and courtesy cheered us the round trip transfer giving us many useful tips for the rest of the holiday (like dinner in Pozzuoli). The tour was led by Gaetano and Mario who with great skill (they spoke in 4 languages!!) and availability made us discover the wonders of the Amalfi coast. Being the 15th of August we let you imagine the confusion but they were able to handle the situation with so much patience and solve any complication. Thank you!! The only sore note, due to traffic the visit to Ravello lasted much longer than expected limiting the time available to Amalfi. See you next time 😄

  Organisation of the transfer part of the tour from Sorento was terrible. Driver dropped us – 5 people / 2 families – at empty parking lot and told us to wait for the company’s representative. When after 20 minutes we called the tour operator, the reply was “Just wait”. After additional 10 minutes bus with about other 15 people parked in the lot, but still no information was given, and finally after 10 more minutes tour operator’s representative Daniela arrived. After distribution of boat’s tickets more waiting for 30 minutes. After the tour Daniela skipped one family from the list and almost left them at the port. Maybe Daniela had just a bad day, but maybe she should be involved with organising people. The boat tour itself was really nice, the sights were charming. The guide on the boat was ok both providing the information and organising the group. For organising the tour from Sorento - "1-", for Amalfi coast view from the sea - "5+".

  Excursion made on May 2, we chose the option without Ravello with pickup in Pompeii. On the way we left from the port of Torre del Greco. On the way back we landed in Portici. No problem for us, but it would have been clearer for everyone if those who gave the tickets in the morning had warned that the port of landing could change according to the needs of the organization. Fantastic driver Matteo who picked us up by car in the morning and brought us back in the evening; extremely kind person, he also did his best to make us a cicero while we crossed the different countries, illustrating with passion the merits of his land. As for us the excursion in general was well organized, good escorts Nello and Gaetano to manage everything always with punctuality and order as scheduled. Perhaps the explanations given during navigation, which were often somewhat different in different languages, could be improved. The only big flaw of the whole excursion is the bathing in the boat: at times, in a completely unpredictable way, due to the movement of the boat relative to the sea, the toilet behaved like a real geyser spraying the contents (water, pee, etc...) at about 1 meter high smearing both the wall, and the unfortunate on duty (and, if a man could instinctively manage to avoid danger, for a woman it would have been impossible). In the bathroom then, since the morning, there was no water to wash hands. A bath like this is simply unacceptable for an excursion of this type and cost, especially considering that otherwise the boat was very nice and clean. If instead of being "hit" only me and smearing, my wife or son were hit my vote for the hike would have been 0/5 because the day would have been irretrievably ruined.

  Great boat ride. Staff was very helpful and did speak multiple languages. Lots of lines and waiting times for the boat wasted instead of seeing sights.

  On August 18th me, my family and our dog took the boat tour Amalfi and Positano with Maddalena and Alba and it was a great experience in every detail that straightened out the day started badly with rain and storm A huge thank you to both for their professionalism and sympathy and also to the drivers of transfers from Vico Equense to the port

  We had the best day visiting almalfi, Ravello (my favourite) and beautiful positano, From start to finish it was soo much fun and all organised with the best tour guide ever Simon from Rome! We loved him and he made our day fantastic, whoever gets Simon as their tour guide, hes the best..

  Outstanding experience. STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY. They went out of their way to speak to everyone individually.... They remembered our names and genuinely seemed interested. We have to thank Maria and Marlene for their friendliness and there were a few others also onboard who were just as friendly...can't remember their names. Highly recommend as a way to see Amalfie and Positano if you only have a day to explore. The explanations and instructions were very clear.

  Not our favorite “tour”. We had to be at our meeting spot at 7:35am for a 9:30 departure. Our hotel serves breakfast at 7:30. It was only us that was picked up so we feel like it was set up much too early. Amalfi is not all that. Positano is much prettier in our opinions. We only have about 50 minutes in Positano due to weather they said. If our guide gave any tips for Amalfi we didn’t hear them. Waiting now to see if we will have transportation back to the hotel due to early arrival. I will also say when you need to be picked up, you get in a car and really have no idea where they’re taking you. So if the driver doesn’t speak your language you just don’t know where you’re going.
