  This private tour is a good option if you like to visit it in your own way. Thomasz is a good driver, brings your there and knows the intens-emotions you will experience. Really nice to visit these places on a personal way.

  Ziggy was a wonderful driver! This was a terrific day spent as I chose to go with the self guided visit. Highly recommend for those that would just like to explore and keep track of time on their own.

  We opted for a self guided tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau as I have read so much about both, and didn't want to be rushed by guides. An incredibly emotional place - Auschwitz is the first camp that you visit, with the iconic "Arbeit Macht Frei" gate. There is so much to see and we simply didn't have time to see it all which was a shame. We saw those areas we felt had the most impact - we weren't wrong. I have wanted to go since I first heard of the camp and I firmly believe everyone should go, if only to acknowledge the millions who died. Slightly marred by huge guided tours, which made it difficult at times. It is in Auschwitz that you will see the belongings, including hair of those who died. On leaving Auschwitz, we were taken for lunch which was surprisingly nice - a large sandwich, fruit and water before commencing our visit to Birkenau. For me, this was the more emotional and hard hitting of the sites - seeing the destroyed gas chambers and the selection site. Although there are many barracks still standing here, it is only possible to visit two - the so called "Death Barracks" and the Children's Barracks - very harrowing, to walk where small children struggled to survive. If you know when you plan to visit Poland, it is worth checking to see if tickets are available for free (both sites are free to visit - but it is only by booking in advance and the tickets run out incredibly quickly - they recommend that you try to book three months in advance. ).

  We booked a trip to Auschwitz from Krakow, with drop off at Krakow airport. The communication via mail with Mrs. Eliana was prompt with clear responces. She provided us with all the necessary informations regarding visiting Auschwitz, that she knew would be important for us. Excellent business communication. The minivan was spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious. The driver Tomasz was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Krakow Travel Time, to anyone visiting Poland.   This visit will be etched in your memories. We first visited Auschwitz 1 with the famous fence. The barracks where behind the windows are children's shoes suitcases and human hair....... unbelievable.......The first gas chamber (recreated) and the story behind it ...madness...... Birkenau the death camp.....goosebumps....walk through to the back and you see the remains of the gas chambers...walk further into the forest and you see the water pools where the ashes were dumped............

  No words strong enough to describe this site. Not easy to find the words... French tour very well led by a passionate guide, and picked up near our hotel, so no transport worries. On site, possibility to buy drinks and snacks, between visits of both camps. Possibility to carry water inside the site, but no big backpacks and no food. Visit in French essential. Book very, very early!

  Had a very good tour with this company. Everything ran very smoothly and the driver was friendly and organised. We did both Auschwitz and Wielicka in a pretty busy day and could not have done this on our own so were very happy with the transport and having everything organised for us. Would definitely recommend.
