Live the experience of flying in a hot air balloon over Teotihuacán and see the dawn of the gods as well as the archaeological zone from above (Subject to weather conditions).
For your safety and comfort, the assigned driver and tour guide will pick you up in the lobby of your accommodation in a vehicle that you will share with other travelers.
After flying you will make a traditional toast, receive your flight certificate and enjoy a 1 hour 30 minute guided tour within the archaeological zone of Teotihuacán where you will learn the history and mysteries hidden in this incredible place.
At the end of the tour we will take you to visit “La Gruta”, a natural cave and one of the most traditional and incredible restaurants in Teotihuacán that will undoubtedly surprise you. Enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch (not included in your reservation) and take lots of photos.
We will be back at your accommodation at approximately 2 in the afternoon.

In the morning you will enjoy an incredible hot air balloon ride over Teotihuacán lasting from 40 minutes to 1 hour, where if weather conditions allow you will be able to see the sunrise as well as incredible views of the pyramids. After your balloon ride you will enjoy a guided tour of approximately 1 hour 30 minutes, which will allow you to learn about the history and some important information about this mysterious civilization.
You will have the opportunity to visit and have a delicious breakfast or lunch in one of the most traditional and impressive restaurants in Teotihuacán. (Foods are not included in your reservation)

5.00Ricardo our driver was awesome ! Balloon ride was flawless - once in lifetime experience with the best crew. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and down to earth. And getting to eat a La Gruta was a cherry on top. I did follow other review suggestions and making my reservations ahead of time for around 11:30am. It was perfect timing. Our best day out of our four day trip to Mexico City .

5.00Elizabeth was an exceptional guide. She was very kind and knowledgeable about the history of Teotithuacán. The hot air balloon ride felt very secure, with a licensed balloon pilot. Thank you to Carlito as well, we had a phenomenal experience.

5.00Howard gave a very detailed explanation of the Aztec pyramids. Even though he was working within a time frame, he still made sure to pause the tour so we could take photos. He was warm and welcoming throughout, and tour guides like him truly make the experience memorable.

5.00Wonderful experience, it was 2 of us in our party. Hermes was our guide and carlos was our driver. It was a quick comfortable to the Balloon port. After a quick weight check we were able to get some coffee and cookies. We were a tiny group of 2 people so were on a balloon with a basket meant for 4 people. We took off, good ride for 45 min with great views of the pyramids and surrounding villages. After returning and looking at our pictures and buying our souvenir we then made our way to the pyramids. Hermes was a great guide, he was very knowledgeable about the history of the archeological site, answered all of our questions. The site was not very crowded, got a chance to take plenty of pictures and play with the friendly dogs who call this archeological site their home. After that we made our way to the famous La Gruta restaurant, food was satisfactory, ambience was good after which we headed back to our Hotel in CDMX.

5.00SO glad we did this! Howard and Etienne made us feel safe and taken care of, and it felt nice supporting a smaller operation. Our balloon operator Ulysses was a total pro, and Howard gave us a fascinating and informative tour of the pyramids before our brunch at La Gruta. Made it back to CDMX center around 1pm and had the rest of the day to chat about the morning's adventures.

5.00Hermez was a wonderful guide! Knowledgeable, friendly, and we’re so lucky that he was our guide. If you can ask for him, please do! The balloon ride is sooo amazing and beautiful! I 100% recommend this package tour! Lifetime memory! One thing to note about purchasing this package is that while it says visit to La Gruta restaurant (food not included) it also does not include a reservation to the restaurant. You have to make it separately. You can make it at 8am right after the balloon ride, or 10:30 after the tour. We didn’t know that, because we assumed visit to the restaurant meant reservation for us. Luckily Hermez was able to get us in and also the restaurant was very empty (weekday at 8am right at opening) and we were only 3 people.

5.00Howard our guide and Carlos our driver were amazing! They picked us up at our Air-bnb and we're right on time. Howard's knowledge of the pyramids and Teotihuacan was exceptional. The hot air balloon ride was incredible, and breakfast at La Gruta was an experience of a life time. Both Howard and Carlos were very cordial and helpful in guiding us throughout the day. We always felt safe, and had no hiccups with our experience. I give our experience a 10 out of 10! THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!
