  So enjoyed our few hours in the Capitoline Museum, we purchased our tickets at the door only queued for a few minutes. Definitely worth a visit, a huge amount to see and very spacious. There is an incredible vista from the lower level, we spent 10mins complete alone taking beautiful photos of the city. Perfect

  I couldn't find a page for the official museums so i'll review here even if I don't know Joy of Rome Tours (i'm sure you are wonderful). For me, this museum was the best place I visited in Rome. Incredible artefacts from ancient Rome can be found inside and it's not so busy either.

  Amazing tour! Excellent guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Her passion for the museum made it even more interesting and exciting. We will remember her and the museum fondly. If you like to hear the history of art and artifacts as you view them, this is the tour and tour for you.

  Sylvia was on time. She spoke both Italian and English which was perfect for our group. She was friendly and quite knowledgeable and researched information on her tablet. We were very happy with her. Sylvia era perfetta. Lei parla inglesi ed italianio. Lei sa motto cose e a fato on buon lavoro con noi - con tutti i nostri domande. Molto gentile.

  We did the tour for Ancient Roman/Greek mythology at the Capitoline Museum for my son who is a HUGE fan of the books and mythology. Grace was PHENOMENAL at this tour. My son and her would walk through the halls and talk about the different gods and their connection to the Mythology but also their connection to the current beliefs and their place in the history of the city. They did the questionaire about the Mythology and there was a color page attachment as well which my son did later and loved. It was truly one of the best experiences we had in our long trip to Europe (16 days). I cannot overstate how awesome this tour was. Absolutely fantastic. Don't hesitate to book this.

  Arianna is everything wonderful about Italy--warm, caring, proud, and very knowledgable about Roman and Italian history. Our tour of the Capitoline museum was the high point of our visit to Rome.

  This was also one of the best tours that we’ve ever taken! The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable , professional, humorous, friendly, and helpful. She even went “above and beyond “ by arranging for the museum personnel to get ramps and elevators access to accommodate our wheelchairs, and then obtaining permission from the police to allow a taxi to come right to the museum exit to transport us back to our hotel! The Museum itself is also a must see place in Rome to learn about the history of the city and to visually take that history in via remarkable works of art, sculpture, tapestry, and a “talking fountain.” I’ll let you visit to discover this last item. Very highly recommended tour!!

  Wonderful tour! Serena is exceptionally knowledgeable. She was very patient and accommodating to our pace. I learned as much as a semester of school. She explained in words that were understandable. Definitely will take another tour.

  Arianna opened our eyes to marvels that we would have never known without her guiding us through this extraordinary museum. We loved her enthusiasm, knowledge and great ability to connect critical events together so that we could understand history in a much more in depth way. She made the 2-1/2 hours the definite highlight of our four days in Rome.
