The whole activity ran very smoothly. The ladies dressing us were very considerate and accomodating with all sizes. I wasnt able to sit on the floor and a chair was provided for me to make it easier.

you go through the whole process before the tea ceremony - hair is done for you and you are dressed by the experts at the venue lots of photo opportunities and they let you keep your kimono on to walk around the streets of Kyoto. The whole process of making the Match and tasting it; was authentic and the hostess was very generous of her knowledge - truly worth the cost and experience. I also did the calligraphy which was a great experience too. There was a struggle by the taxi cabs regarding the address they didn't know where it was so need to give a landmark which is the Nishiki market as it was very very close.
