Consider adding buffer time before your next tour, because the Cupola climb may take longer than expected

Brunelleschi’s Dome requires climbing 463 steps, with no lift available.

The dome climb is strongly NOT recommended for people with cardiovascular, respiratory diseases, vertigo, claustrophobia, and pregnant women.

Individuals wearing sleeveless shirts and shorts above knees are not allowed inside the cathedral

Backpacks of any size or dimension, and any bag designed to be worn on the back, are not allowed.

This tour includes portions that are outside and could be in the full sun. Please bring a hat, small umbrella, or sunscreen if you are sensitive to the sun.

Arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.

It is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.

    This was a great tour. Chiara was so good. So much information. A great tour. Highly recommend. We loved seeing David and the Duomo and of course the climb was awesome inspiring.

    The tour guide was professional and extremely knowledgeable. Our only complaint was that it felt rushed at times and maybe we could have used a few extra minutes to take pictures and look at art. The climb to Il Duomo is difficult with several spiral steps so caution is advised.
