  We enjoyed a great experience on a day cruise to Bai Tu Long bay: super comfortable transport, great onsite organization and communication between the agency and local guides. We felt very well taken care of, everyone on bord and on the ground was very thoughtful and willing to cater to any needs. It was my husband's birthday and the agency secretly organized a surprise on the boat, it was very sweet, we loved it and we highly recommend booking your tour with Old Quarter Travel.

  Don’t miss it! A full day and legit food! Kimi is an excellent guide very knowledgeable and funny! The kayak was fun but very busy. The monkeys were the highlight!

  The tour itself was relaxing, not too challenging, and done at a nice pace. Everything was done as informed in the description. However, what put it over the top was the guide, Viet. Not only was he very knowledgable and willing to answer any questions, he went out of his way to help me get my PHONE back which I had lost the day earlier! Everyone knows the feeling of losing a phone and not being able to take pics, etc. Therefore it was really important for me to get it back and Viet helped me locate it, lost in the city, from the boat-- and then helped me retrieve it from the finder after the tour returned to Hanoi, some 13 hours later. He could have gone home after a tiring day at work but instead helped me get back a supremely important possession, and for that itself I give him 5 stars. Thanks Viet!

  The tour was great and even though we did not start in hanoi and met the group just at the harbor we loved the Organisation of the trip. I was communicating with Viet via WhatsApp and he was always curious about our wishes and did all the best to make us feel comfortable. Thank you very much!

  - Very good price- 38$ (same tour in our Box Hotel was the double price and not so much included!!) - excellent English speaking guide with humor! We were 50 people and lost him sometimes, because he run so fast- could be better. But on the way to Halong Bay and on the boat he explained everything detailed, slowly and clearly! - at the booking, the guy was honest and said, that’s it’s really overcrowded (on the 30th of April/1st of May) and maybe we can’t see so much. I really appreciate his honesty! - it was raining a lot at this day and so the government closed the Halong bay. We were waiting for 2 hours and then it was possible to start the tour. It was great from the company, that we had the same tour- just two hours longer. It was just not possible to swim at the beach, because it was closed cause of the rain.. And we took the Highway back to Hanoi so we weren’t two hours later at the hotel- they had to pay extra for it. But so they always wanted the best for us tourists! Great trip with a great company!

  The trip was well organised and layed out from the collection in the morning to the drop off and the end. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience Ha Long Bay
