Ba Dinh Square
05:30 We will meet you at the meeting point in Hanoi Old Quarter to take bicycle. After short brief information about the biking route and manual introduction. We will start the trip to Ba Dinh square and join the Rising Flag Ceremony at the front of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
Long Bien Bridge
Then, we continue cycling above the Red River on Hanoi’s legendary Long Bien Bridge, built by the famous Eiffel construction company at the beginning of 20th century. We have short breaks at the bridge and standing in the middle of the bridge, you can see the banana and vegetable farmlands on Bai Giua Island of the Red River, which is the best place to take some extraordinary photo of the green fields and the working farmers. Enjoy and breathe fresh air in the sunrise. Moving on, we will go along "Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural along the Red River". It has been listed in the Guinness World Records as the longest pottery-decorated road in the world.

Early start but seems most of Hanoi are up by 5.30am anyway. Only just made it to HCMN flag raising as we were late being picked up, any slow cyclists would have missed it. Amazing experience cycling in the traffic as its chaos, "organised chaos" as it works. To cycle amongst it was amazing. Loved everywhere we went. Our guide went off going ahead too far a few times. Totally recommend this tour just to say you SURVIVED!

Yes, this is an early, early start, but so worth it. We had a great time and can say we successfully navigated Hanoi traffic like locals. This is a great way to experience everyday life in Hanoi. We had a great guide, although he never told us his name. We really enjoyed watching this city wake up -- the Flag raising at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, watching locals exercising, early morning visit to the Temple, best offerings at the Flower Market, local fare at the wet market, Pho for breakfast, and finished with an original Egg Coffee. All of this was accomplished in two and a half hours. We felt a little more like locals the rest of the day.

Fantastic feel for authentic Hanoi. Punctual hotel w meet up w snack n water. Bike was a bit old but comfortable and tough enough for all terrain encountered. Easy ride physically but will need to pick up Hanoi street ride habits as morning gets busy. Excellent guide of sights!!
