  First the issues: the Mosaleum and the Museum of Ethnology were not included because they are closed on Mondays, so offering the tour on this day is unacceptable-- I could have easily gone on Tuesday instead. The Incense Village was not included or mentioned at all. The entire group spent all day waiting on a couple who were super late to board the bus, then kept holding us up at every stop. FYI in some countries they just leave the latecomers behind out of respect for the others in the group who are following the schedule. Other than that, the things that were included were great and Sophia was an excellent guide; she's the only reason I gave it four stars instead of less. In the end I didn't get my money's worth and will have to pay extra to return on my own to see what was missed, if I even have time before my trip is over.

  I took a full day bus tour and it was excellent. Our tour guide, Son (means mountain) has been a guide for over a decade, spoke English exceptionally, always repeated the numbers such as when he said fifty he would then say 50 which was very much appreciated, and he had a great sense of humor - who could ask for more?

  Our guide, Sophia, was excellent: enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and kind. Also, her English was very good. The restaurant exceeded our expectations: beautiful, good food (and plenty of it), and very good service.

  We really enjoyed the tour, learnt a lot about the culture and history of Vietnam and Viet people. If you are into learning about Vietnam and it’s history this tour is definitely a must and do the full day tour as the lunch stop in the middle was some of the best food we ate in Vietnam. Tour guide was great and very knowledgable and explained everything in very good Spoken English .

  Would 100% recommend taking this tour early on in your Hanoi stay to get an understanding of the history of this vibrant city. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel dead on time, and the driver did a great job navigating the traffic on the weekend of Ho Chi Minh’s birthday. We would have liked it a bit cooler on the bus but it was clean and comfortable. Our guide Le Chuong was superb: very passionate and knowledgeable about his city of birth and happy to answer questions and chat. None of the tour felt rehearsed; we left feeling educated and with a better understanding of what might at first seem a chaotic and crowded city. All the sites were worth visiting as important chapters in Hanoi’s past and present. For lunch we were taken to the one of the top-rated restaurants I had on my bucket list and the food was plentiful, fresh and varied. Lovely quote from our guide to end: the Viet are like bamboo: flexible but unbreakable.
