Introduced us to the famous must eats. Group was small enough which allowed us to carry good conversations, with the help of course of our very able tour guide, Luke, who by the way speaks excellent English.

The tour itself was ok,Max, our guide was very nice and served us delicious dishes. Why I only forgive 4* is because they forgot to pick me up. I waited over half an hour and had to actively contact the operator. But he apologized and immediately organized a driver who then took me to the group.

This tour gave me the confidence to eat out in Hanoi. All the food was delicious; the stand-out for me was the bún chả, from the place where Obama and Bourdain dined. Luke, our local guide, is effervescent and knowledgeable about his home city. He gave us insights into local culture as well as the food, accommodated all requests, and continuously considered our needs and comfort. It was absolutely suitable for my two teenagers, who were with me on the tour. Tip: do this tour early in your stay and you will already have excellent dining experiences to build on.
