Enjoy a full day Lady Musgrave Island trip departing from Bundaberg Port Marina, Burnett Heads. Lady Musgrave Experience - Reef Tours
Experience the Southern Great Barrier Reef on-board a luxury catamaran. Cruise from Bundaberg Port Marina, Burnett Heads to Lady Musgrave Island, enjoy morning tea and a reef presentation by our marine biologists as you make your way to the pristine Lady Musgrave Reef lagoon for snorkeling, glass bottom boat tour and guided island walk. Enjoy a gourmet buffet lunch using freshest local produce Bundaberg has to offer, which will be served on-board during the 4.5 hour stay in the lagoon. You will have access to the warm showers located on the duck board to use after your snorkel or dive. Introductory scuba diving is available on request with a fully qualified scuba diving instructor (payable direct). Scuba diving for certified divers is also available on request (payable direct) and also for the more adventurous divers, transfer to the outer wall and surrounding reefs (payable direct). On the trip home, enjoy an afternoon tea before arriving back to the marina. Your day trip includes premium quality snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel and fins), glass bottom boat tour and guided Island walk. Morning tea, buffet lunch and afternoon tea.

5.00Imagine water so blue, you have to see to believe. A wonderful day full of adventure. From an educational and interesting island tour to a glass bottom boat with a special guest a green turtle to enchant us all. Finally and most importantly the snorkeling straight off the pontoon. Overall a must do, can't recommend enough!

5.00Very nice operation, fantastic crew, great fast comfortable catarmaran and pontoon all laid out and organised with lots of spaces for snorkeling, observatory, glass bottom boat on beautiful offshore coral reef with giant trevally, longtims, fish and tons of turtles everywhere and island with Pisonia fairy forests and thousands of amazing seabirds. Take a pill night before and on morning if prone sea sickness and sit out in the beautiful wind and sky but wehad no problems. We camped on island and boat crew really helpful and friendly getting us out there and back safely and easily with all our gear.
Worth every penny!

5.004 adults and 2 kids had a fantastic time. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lad from Leeds who taught me, a non swimmer, how to snorkel.

1.00This was the first excursion I booked for my holiday, the route and accommodation I tailored accordingly. So I was looking forward to it. The trip was cancelled 5 (!) days in advance ‘due to bad weather’. The weather on the coast was fine that day. I strongly felt that it was an excuse, because how do you know so far in advance that the weather is too bad? I suspect they didn't have enough applications for that day. We were allowed to change for a day earlier or later, but that didn't work with our schedule. Neat deposit got back, but we were already stuck for 2 nights in an accommodation 10 minutes away from the excursion which did not happen... So make sure you can cancel your hotel, otherwise you will still incur unnecessary costs if they do not allow the excursion to go ahead.

5.00Absolutely loved our trip out to Lady Musgrave Island with the LMI Experience team. Check in was smooth, the swell a bit choppy but everyone was made to feel comfortable (crew were great with dealing with a few people suffering from sea sickness). When we arrived at the Island time flew by in the best way - an informative and excellent island tour, a cool glass-bottom boat tour where we spotted turtles, then snorkelling and a scuba dive after lunch - both were amazing, there’s so much to see in the lagoon, especially The Aquarium section! Special thanks for Alex for an awesome dive and a great chat on the way home - much do trip!

4.00Not to sound like a Karen but there were a few hiccups prior to our departure… We arrived at the place we thought we were supposed to meet as indicated on the electronic ticket (17 Marina Dr, Burnett Heads) only to discover we were 150m away from the actual check in area. Can I suggest having a staff member at this point to direct customers to the correct area just in case there is confusion on the correct arrival area. Once we were checked in we had to re do the electronic waiver as the one we did online the night before didn’t register in their system? When we finally boarded we asked if we could order a coffee (remembering it is just after 7am) we were advised we had to wait for our group to be called first. Can I suggest this should be advised prior to boarding as was not in the briefing. In saying all of that we thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Lady Musgrave Island and The Great Barrier Reef. My partner and I had an amazing experience snorkeling with the turtles and they came close enough to touch. Staff members on the island and at fish feeding were very informative and we could tell they loved educating us about the reef, the island and of course the amazing wildlife on the island and around the reef! This will go down as one of the best experiences we have ever had and highly recommend it to all. Just BOOK IT!

5.00Snorkelling and seeing turtles. Crew were lovely, attentive and knowledgable. Well paced. Nice lunch n snacks. Bit choppy on the way there - that’s just nature for ya!

5.00Amazing, must do experience! It was a beautiful day, perfect weather when we went. The whole day from start to finish was amazing! The crew were fantastic, super friendly and accommodating. The tour was organised to a tee, with various activities. Beautiful sights - we saw whales, mantra rays, black reef tip sharks, turtles and so many beautiful fish and coral. Price point is perfect for everything that is included and the amount of time for the tour. Won't forget these memories and will def do again next time I am in Bundaberg.
