Great Experience in the Air, But Too Much Confusion and Upselling

We booked this hot air balloon ride hoping for a smooth, romantic experience. Instead, the logistics were messy from the jump. The day before the trip, we got a call saying our location was “too far,” and we’d need to pay an extra $20 for pickup. They never sent a link or method to pay, just gave us another location to meet them. The next morning, we were where we thought we should be, only to be told again that we were in the wrong spot. Eventually, they sent a driver and the balloon ride itself was beautiful. They did deliver the flight, transportation, and cave breakfast as listed—but the breakfast felt more about the cave ambiance than good food. The real issue came afterward. They refused to take us back to our original location and said we’d have to pay the driver more if we wanted to be dropped off at our actual stay. That felt like a scam, especially after the confusion and extra charge already mentioned. To top it off, they asked us to leave a review mid-experience in exchange for a free photo, which I did, assuming everything was handled—but clearly, it wasn’t. We left feeling like they got an extra $20 out of us without proper communication, and it left a sour taste after what could’ve been a perfect morning. Idania and I both agree—wouldn’t recommend.

It is cheaper option but flight didn’t even go high. It ended in 20 minutes. I would rather spend some more and get a proper Balloon ride

Absolutely horrific experience. Driver arrived over an hour late getting there and nobody would respond to us about it. We sat outside at 4:30 AM just waiting. We paid for balloon only and it was a hassle to convince them to drive us back instead of going on the rest of the tour even though that’s what we paid for. The driver then drove right past our accommodation and we had to yell to get him to pull over so we could walk back. Nobody in management would respond to us. Please use a different company.
