• Great food , views and service , terrible music and ambience

  Trip advisor didn’t pass my message onto the service about my little nephew being under 3 and with have a push chair but spoke with the service directly and it was sorted . You can get some great pictures of the Statue of Liberty and of the city. The food that was served was delicious the main and dessert in particular. The servers were attentive , pleasant and accommodating as you should expect. The issue I had with this cruise was the live music and the band , the music was not subtle evening music , where you can converse and relax. This really annoyed my party and I could overhear other tables complaining amongst themselves about the music. Unfortunately and with all due respect the person signing could not sing and was extremely out of key. Which made the music all that much worse.

  The food and wine selection was AWFUL. The bad was ok but not the music anybody would ever dance to. In fact, nobody danced a single song. Everyone was nice which is why I feel bad giving this one star review but it was a real waste of money and a horrible way to kill 3 hours of my day. There was no MC or anyone even pointing out what we were looking at or the landmarks. The whole thing was awkward and I couldn’t wait to get off.

  Overall this was a very good trip on Christmas night let down by some poor quality food. Excellent venue, pleasant staff, good entertainment, good value for money and amazing views of NYC at night. The cheese plate, starter and pudding were all very good but the main course of steak / Salmon were truly awful. It was clear we weren't the only people who didn't eat the main course as many tables around us left plates full. The steak whilst not a bad quality was cold, mash, cold, veg, cold. We could of asked for it to be changed but staff were so busy we felt by the time it came back to us it would have been the same. Had our main meal been hot or even warm this trip would have got 5 stars.

  The customer service was sooooo terrible. The waiters could barely speak or understand English. The waiters were very dismissive and liars. The waiters did not give you options. I have an allergy to beef and do not eat pork at all and they would not accommodate me. One waiter took the food back because he said he could get it made wit no pork or beef and came back with pork and beef still on it just placed differently. They lied about the dessert options. Told me I could only get chocolate moose cake because cheesecake was no longer available but then when the manager came over she went right in the back an brought us out a piece. The food was at room temp. The food was flavorless. They said there was a live music and I never once seen anyone. There was no announcer so no one once ever told us when we were leaving base point or arriving back nor letting us know about any beautiful or historic site. They have no photographs so it’s just up to you to take photos and or find kind enough people to take our photo. The wine selection was very minimal. The parking was $40 and that was never listed on the site. The parking lot to boarding was far and for as much money spent they should have someone come get you from the parking lot on a go cart or something. The whole experience was just horrible.

  Beautiful views from start to finish. We arrived early and was worried we would have to stay out in the cold but the amazing staff allowed early boarding and we kept warm indoors. Would definitely recommend the cruise for the stu Ning views.

• Good but logistical nightmare

  I would like to start by saying the cruise itself was very pleasant. The food was delicious, the drinks were good, and the waiters were hospitable. However the logistics were terrible. We received multiple communications stating that the cruise was canceled, and then was informed that the cancellation was a misunderstanding. This situation was out of our control and on the company, we called and had it rectified. We then arrived, from out of state, and was humiliated saying we did not have reservations to only be told we did. We all sat down and 15 minutes later was pulled again show confirmed receipt of payment in front of multiple people. To rectify we were apologized to but it honesty was a bummer.

• This is a SCAM! The company can cancel without you knowing or getting your refund. Then expect you to pay more in person

  This is a SCAM!!!! Purchased the tickets for my girlfriend and I a few weeks back. When we got to Pier 36 and showed the tickets, the ticket guy informed me that our tickets were cancelled. I did not get an email that my tickets were cancelled and that I had been refunded. That was not true. I did not get an email about the cancellation, nor did I get my refund. There were a few people that night that the company canceled their tickets without telling us until we got there. I felt sorry of one family with a child (maybe about 6 people in total). Apparently, they overbooked. They also asked me to pay another price at the door that were higher than I had originally paid for the ticked just so I can get on. I respectfully declined. This company didn’t care about the fact that they messed up. The people checking the ticket kept saying we should called their office but it was late so no one was responding. So we left without getting on board or getting refunded. I will be doing a follow up with the company itself tomorrow. Very disappointed because we were looking forward to it. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!

  It was hard to find the entrance. Definitely need more signage so people know they are in the right place. Also, the music was too loud, hard to converse and would have liked more Christmas music. The ride itself was great, people very nice and the dessert was wonderful!! Beautiful views, especially when you went on the deck.
