4.00My friend and I booked this trip in advance from the UK, and the day prior to the trip it was necessary for the departure time to be put back from 7 pm to 8pm due to a docking conflict. I cannot fault Viator for their numerous attempts to contact me to let me know this. I received a text message, an email and a voicemail to let me know the amended schedule. Initially I was dubious because payment had already been taken and on arrival at Pier 36 the departure point was difficult to find and needed better signage. This was made worse due to a lot of construction work in the area. Our Uber car ended up in the Fire Station yard, and this must happen a lot, because the guy there didn't even ask, he just smiled, pointed, and said "It's round the back." Once we found the boat we had a really great evening. Upon boarding, the upper deck VIP section looked very plush, but we soon realised that downstairs was the place to be! Staff were lovely, and very helpful. One or two did not have English as their first language, but they sought out colleagues to help if they didn't understand. Dinner was several courses and it was tasty and plentiful. Don't expect gourmet dining, but it was perfectly adequate. It was really more about the experience than the food. Nothing was too much trouble, and the live band were brilliant, which we would have missed out on had we been on the upper deck. Manhattan by night was beautiful and we had a great view of the Statue of Liberty all illuminated. The skipper stopped for several minutes to allow people to take photos. All in all a great trip and I would have rated it 5 stars had it not been for the difficulty in locating the boarding point.

5.00Great Views of the City. Excellent Views of the Statue of Liberty. Dinner and staff were both good. Walk from the subway to the boat was a little sketchy but we made it ok.

1.00Terrible! Cruise was overbooked and we weren’t turned away. We booked a month in advance for the VIP experience. When we arrived at the boat, we were told VIP was sold out and they only had 1 spot for us in main dining. In addition, the book did not look like it did in the picture

5.00A wonderful evening. The steak dinner was very good. The staff were delightful from the boarding to the end. The live band was also lovely. Engaging and friendly. Highly recommend. Would definitely do again.
