5.00The palace is so amazing..so always book in advance, book through viator last minute, I was able to complete the palace only and lil bit of gardens. Prefer comfortable clothes and shoes. Njoyed my time as I am a history bug, If I ll get a chance, will plan my visit gaian to these Versailles palace.. Tip : keep a full day or a half for these palace to cover

2.00Fast booking but problem, not received our tickets. Hard to reach the platform. However once contacted the person was very reassuring, unfortunately no possibility of visit and always waiting for the refund.

2.00If you are going to "do" Paris you probably have to include Versailles on your list of things to see. My advice is to lower your expectations. Granted, there are several "wow!" rooms in the palace, but most of the first 10 or so state apartments are the equivalent of being in an ornate art museum (paintings hanging on the walls). I cannot imagine being in these spaces with children. You do get to see beds' in the King and Queen's bedrooms. The crowd of people that get crammed into these spaces makes movement from room to room difficult. For some reason tour groups seem to believe they have a level of priority that borders on obnoxiousness. We had timed tickets and still waited 45 minutes beyond to enter the palace. Harsh as this sounds: raise ticket prices and limit daily ticket sales.

1.00Rip-off by vendor 'Wanderung' We were charged double the price available at Versailles. Price changed was 85 Euro. Versailles charge $41 Euro. The vendor charged us 10 Euro per ticket for under 18 Versailles is free. Disgraceful behaviour by the vendor. Do not use this service. I expected better from Trip Adviser and was not careful enough do not trust these services.
