A day between iconic places and real encounters, privately run, slowed down and with a personal touch.
Together with us, Fabian and Christina, a Swiss couple who love their homeland, we discover Unpacked places like Lauterbrunnen or Mürren away from the crowds. At your pace, without haste, with time for real impressions and quiet moments.
In between we take time for a Swiss picnic, depending on the season also with raclette from our own farm cheese and regional products.
There are no memorized texts, but honest stories, Swiss warmth and an experience that remains personal.

Lake Lungern
A short stop at the idyllic Lungernsee nestled between gentle hills, lush green forests and imposing peaks. The turquoise lake is like a hidden gem in the middle of the Central Swiss Alps and invites you to pause. Here you can feel the tranquility that nature radiates a silent moment far from time.
Giessbach Falls
A magical place where the water cascades through the forest and reaches Lake Brienz with a roaring sound. The view of the falls, framed by the historic Grandhotel and nature, looks like from another time. A place to marvel and breathe.

5.00Our family of 4 (Mom, Dad, 11 and 15 year old boys) spent an incredible day with Fabian. He picked us up at our hotel in Zurich and took us to some of the most beautiful places we have ever seen....or even imagined. His obvious love for, and vast knowledge of the area was informative and refreshing. Fabian was very flexible with the locations he took us to and provided some intriguing options. Our boys, who are seasoned travelers and difficult to impress, still refer to our day with Fabian and say it was the best tour they had while we traveled through Europe. You will not feel like a tourist on this tour. It is special tour, and if you have the opportunity, do not pass it up. Our whole family fell in love with the Swiss countryside after one day. (also, try the cheese from his farm - outstanding!)

5.00We were doing the Rhine river cruise and wanted to make the most of our time in Switzerland. So after doing some research we came across Fabian and his “farm to table” experience. It was the highlight of our trip and one that actually sparked a bigger interest to comeback and see more. Not only was he super friendly and knowledgeable but there were lots of little touches that made the experience feel unique. The stories of his family, their secret recipes, the village experience, and so much more. My wife and I will certainly be back and we will reconnect to see more. Can’t wait.

5.00We had an amazing tour with Fabian. I wanted a private tour for my husband and in-laws and Fabian delivered. Fabian was punctual and managed our time perfectly throughout the day to see everything we hoped too. The views of the Alps speak for themselves but Fabian made the whole day so easy for us. It was really appreciated. We loved talking to him and he answered all our random questions throughout the day with a good attitude about Switzerland and his own family farm. This tour started our trip and it was definitely a highlight looking back. Fabian was well prepared and our picnic and snacks along the way were great. He even brought some of his farm’s cheese which was also amazing! Thank you again and we hope to be back one day!

5.00Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained things in a clear, easy-to-understand way. His English was excellent, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. What I appreciated most was how attentive and kind he was. He checked in on everyone, made sure we were comfortable, and was always happy to answer questions. It never felt rushed, and you could tell he genuinely cared about making the tour a good experience for us. I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for an informative and well-run experience with a guide who truly knows his stuff.

5.00We’re a bit late with our review, but we really want to share our experience from the tour in September with Fabian! From start to finish, everything was just perfect. He picked us up in a big, comfortable Mercedes with leather seats, and we felt right at home. The Jungfrau region, especially Lauterbrunnen, Mürren, and Gimmelwald, was absolutely breathtaking. One of the highlights was the Swiss barbecue we enjoyed. The delicious sausages and great wine made the experience even better. The waterfalls were truly an unforgettable experience; we even had the chance to walk behind one! Having a picnic in front of a stunning waterfall was simply magical. Fabian’s passion and knowledge about the region really enhanced the tour. We learned a lot about the nature and local culture while soaking in the beauty around us. His tours are definitely a highlight, which is why we booked a second tour with him the very next day! We can confidently recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. 5.00We actually found Fabian through his Instagram @life_of_fab27 and decided to message him. We booked his Bernese Oberland tour and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Fresh snow, quiet valleys, unbelievable views. Our favorite moment was the Raclette picnic in Muerren. Homemade products, warm melted cheese, mountains all around us. It felt real and personal and not touristy at all. Fabian is very relaxed, knows the area incredibly well and makes you feel like you are exploring with a local friend. We would book with him again without thinking twice. We will come back 🇨🇭

5.00Christina was an amazing guide – friendly, fun and full of local knowledge. The cable car ride and the waterfalls in Lauterbrunnen were just breathtaking. We really enjoyed the Raclette lunch and the little picnic surprise surrounded by beautiful scenery. Everything felt authentic and unhurried. A perfect Swiss experience we’ll always remember.
