Pick up at 8:30 am at your hotel then drive one and half hour to Quang Phu Cau. By this time, the villagers have already set out incense to dry in various formations, and we’ll get pictures of people working among this sea of red. We’ll have time to capture a variety of shots of the workers in action. We also venture further into the village workshops, shooting images of the incense-making process, including bamboo chopping, dipping the sticks in dye, and the creation of incense paste. We’ll take more images of the friendly locals who have worked on producing incense in this village for generations.
A visit to Quang Phu Cau incense village will bring visitors an opportunity to learn about the traditional craft of making incense sticks and take lots of unique check-in photos. Right after you enter the incense village, you’ll be able to see the busy lives of the locals here.

I did it as private trip and was picked up promptly at hotel and guide was responsive to emails during arrangements . Guide shared information on city and country, took pictures for me and added a stop to day

It was a wonderful experience with guide Hoang. We approach families who have been making incense for generations. We were able to create an authentic connection with the locals thanks to the guide's translation. Exceptionally clean truck and very good driver. Very grateful for this experience.

Great explanations and interesting tour to see how incense were made. Beautiful picture to be taken at the yard and no rush at all. Great way to end the tour before heading to the airport as this is less than 3 hrs in total.

This is a great tour of Halong Bay. Four hours on the cruise is perfect to take in the sights. Our tour guide showed us many of the different islands and took us to a fascinating cave.

The first time that I visited Halong Bay was in March of 2000. the weather was delightful and the ocean was warm enough to swim in. I was amazed by the beauty of the limestone formations that were broaching the sea everywhere. Some of the formations were 20 feet in diameter and 50 feet tall and some were islands with hotels and National Parks and all sizes in between. It was stunning. There is one island with a huge cave on it that was used as a hospital during the warm The cave is massive and incredibly beautiful. There were many other tour boats but that didn't spoil the experience. I returned to Vietnam in Early February of 2018. I also returned to Halong Bay. I was traveling with my cousin and he had never been to Vietnam so I wanted to show him Halong Bay. one of the highlights from my 2000 trip. The weather wasn't as warm as when I traveled in March, and there were a few more tour boats, but the scenery was equally as stunning. There are many tour operators and I will leave that choice up to you. In 2000, I did a 3 day tour with 2 nights on Cat Ba Island, it was just wonderful.
