This Bananarama Private Beach Resort Day Pass Excursion is available for other Resorts or cruise ship guest arriving to the island to enjoy. Once pick up from your hotel or cruise port you will have round trip transportation once on your way you will hearing and learning about some Roatan local history. You will be making stop at the chcocolate and rum factory for a tour of the facility. After that you will head down to west bay to the Bananarama beach resort where you will have access to a beach chair, changing room, fresh water shower, and free WI-FI. Restaurnt right there on the beach available for lunch if hungry (lunch not included) Once setle in you can hop on one our boat and head out snorkel around the reef for an hour once back in and if up to it there also a lot of other water activities to try for an aditional price.

4.00You have to get off the ship and find your ride in a sea of scary individuals trying to sell you an excursion, then you have to walk 1/2 a mile to a car rental place to get to a car for them to drive you to the beach club, then you have to walk another couple of blocks to the beach club. Once you get there it’s amazing and beautiful but the experience of getting there is a little terrifying. The boat ride to snorkel is another distance from the beach club, just know it’s a LOT of walking bring good shoes. The boat ride was amazing and the snorkeling was best I’ve ever seen. Bridget the driver stayed with us all day to be available should be need her.

4.00Amazing Snorkeling experience and the beach is absolutely beautiful. It was definitely a busy place but wonderful experience. The only thing I did not like was the CRAZY driving and we were on time as per our drivers request to go back to ship and he had us wait for another couple dropping us off at chocolate factory so he could go back and we just waited there as there was not much to see.

5.00Our driver Foster was amazing in not only getting us to Bananarama but he also pointed out landmarks along the way on this beautiful island. He got us there and back on time. The folks at the resort were very attentive and made us feel safe and secure when leaving our stuff on the beach chairs. The snorkeling was great too. I would definitely recommend this experience for anyone coming to the island to just relax while at port.

5.00Wonderful day that started with our taxi driver Anthony (shout out to Anthony for his amazing hospitality) upon embarking from our cruise Anthony was there to meet us and said we had him all day to our discretion. He took us to the animal sanctuary where we played with the monkeys, fed the deer, and saw a bunch of local animals. Then we went to the chocolate an rum factory which has an amazing view of West End. We went to Fosters West Bay beach club and I was so glad he took us there due to the history of the resort. Food and drinks were good and the water was amazing. Perfect day trip and I highly recommend. Just be mindful that your driver might take you to any beach club however they are basically all along the same beach.

5.00Our guide was amazing! Anything we wanted he provided! Couldn't ask for better! My husband and his friend were able to book a fishing excursion right on the beach for 2 hours, their day was made!

5.00Booked the 10am Bananarama Day pass just one day before our cruise stop at Town Center. Very good meetup directions & easily found our driver/guide Artmon. He was great, we had a short walk to his car & on our way a few minutes early (just us, no other guests so private tour!). Artmon was super friendly, and he helped me practice Spanish with him as we drove along (he also speaks excellent English). Enjoyed the chocolate factory tour. We arrived at Bananarama and found a pair of shaded beach loungers. The Day pass includes free WiFi which worked okay (ask bartender or waitress for code). Honduran bottled beer was $4 USD (gave her a $5 bill) which seems expensive? Frozen mango daiquiri was even more ($8) so we didn't buy any. Bathroom and outdoor shower worked fine. The beach seemed pretty busy with guests and many vendors passing by. West Bay Beach area is very nice with calm clear water and good swimming conditions. We were glad we got our spot early because it filled up around noon where we were sitting. Ride back to the ship with Artmon was easy. All in all a nice day!

5.00Bananarama has a very pleasant beach area and they did a great job taking care of us. Drinks were delicious and prompt. The sand was soft and the view was very beautiful. This was a wonderful beach break during our tour of Roatan with Cleves’ Tours and Adventures!

2.00We were in Roatan October 19, 2021. We went thur Anderson for a shore excursion for 6 adults. We were told it stopped at a Chocolate Factory and Rum Distillery on the way to Bananarama Beach. Both were closed so we should have just taken a shuttle to the beach since we paid for the tour thinking we would see the two stores. Once at the beach we did get chairs behind a rope and were harassed by vendors literally non stop. Shirts, bracelets, massages, cigars, bags, purses etc. We politely told then no but they came back minutes later and in between others were there. It was non stop. This was not a great trip and we would not recommend this place for anyone. The water was nice but nothing compared to a coco cay..

5.00We had a great day at Bananarama. This excursion was great because of the tour guide from Roatan Anderson tours. Steven aka: Maui made our day perfect by taking care of us and he made sure we were all having a good time. Maui made sure we all had chairs together, he reserved a table for our group for the entire day so we could have lunch and use this shaded area when ever we wanted. Maui took control of the overwhelming peddlers and hooked us up with a snorkel boat for such an awesome experience. Great food and drinks
