Our team will meet you right outside the parking lot of the port in Coxen Hole or at Mahogany bay. Once you reach the designated area look for a sign that reads REAL DEAL ROATAN TOURS. Once you have your assinged private tour guide we will begin the tour by driving through the wonderful streets of downtown roatan. You will get a first hand experience of the local life and markets in downtown. Our first stop is a viewpoint where you can take pictures of the entire island and do some souvenir shopping as well. Next we head towards the westside of the island and stop at the Monkey and sloth park where you get a chance to see the animals in thier natural habitat. Once we are done here we go to West End and try some delicious homemade chocolate at the chocolate factory and even try some local food as well. On our way back to port we will also stop at the giante ROATAN sign for some pictures of the family.

5.00We had an enjoyable tour yesterday with our guide Johan. There was a minor delay at the start. We believe he initially went to the Mohegan Bay pier instead of Coxen Hole, which caused a brief delay in the pickup. I contacted the tour operator through the Viator app, and Johan responded via text, saying he would arrive in about 10 minutes. In total, we waited approximately 25 minutes from disembarking the cruise ship until we met up with him. Once we connected, everything proceeded smoothly. Our first stop was the sloths and monkey sanctuary, where we observed various animals in open enclosures. Next, we visited West End for a guided tour of the Chocolate Factory, learning about the chocolate-making process from bean to bar. Afterwards, we toured the rum factory, where we learned about local rum production and sampled some products. Our final stop was at the Roatan sign for photos before heading back to the ship. Johan was both informative and engaging, making the experience more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour!

5.00Johan was an incredible tour guide! Johan guided our group through torrential rains for a personal tour that included the sloth/monkey preserve, rum factory, chocolate factory, and even a short stop by his home and his church. We enjoyed hearing about his personal story, his ministry, and most of all the beautiful island of Roatan. It rained the entire time we were there and will most definitely visit again when we can see the island in the sunshine. Thanks Johan for an unforgettable tour!

5.00Highly recommend booking through @RealDealRoatanTours!! From Blythe booking process which was totally last minute because our cruise got rerouted due to the hurricane! Johan was able to totally customize our tour for just what we wanted! ATV, sloths, monkey, and snorkeling! Jerry our tour guide was literally such a blessing!! Usually my son is very stand offise toward strangers but was so attached to Jerry. He was so good with my kiddos and we never felt worried at all in fact felt so safe and like he was family ! Truly a 10 + rating! Jerry also stoped and got us real authentic food for us to try! Even tho it was a rainy day the day was so much fun!!! -ATV tour was our favorite! We are very experienced riders and they let us really rip it up out there! -Sloth encounter was always my husbands dream as he loves them. Even tho we can no longer hold them they did let my husband pet one -monkey and bird encounter was great as they got on your shoulder or head and you got to feed the monkey. My kids absolutely loved this -snorkeling was beautiful not as clear due to the raining and big waves but still very fun. -only thing I would remember is going snorkeling first the in the morning if you can. That’s when they say the turtles are there. We did not get to see them :/ Again overall the best Tour and Jerry really made the tour the best ever!!! Thank you so much for making our Vacation the best!!

5.00Great tour - we have an awesome time. Our tour guide Dereck was very educated and professional. With a tween, we told Dereck to focused on the monkey/sloths and the chocolate factory along with skipping the rum factory (we are not big drinkers). Highly recommend Real Deal Tours on your next trip.

5.00Real deal tours, is amazing! There were three of us in our group we all wanted to do different things. I contacted Real Deal to see about customizing the tour. They were able to accommodate. Everyone got to do what we wanted to do. Our guide was David, he was amazing and was very helpful at assisting my 70 yr old mother when needed. We were very impressed. The company was amazing and very responsive in our emails while setting everything up before hand as well. I totally recommend this company.

5.00This was hands down my favorite excursion on our cruise. I was ready to pack & move to Roatan. It is absolutely beautiful there!!! Our guide was David & he was the nicest guy. He offered to stop & be our personal photographer wherever we wanted to stop. He kindly waited for us at each stop & would have the van ready with the a/c running. We had some extra time in our day & he even recommended a place to go ziplining. Just an FYI regarding the sloths, you can't hold them anymore. This is a new rule/law that they made for the area. But, you can still pet them. And they are just so loving!!!

5.00We originally booked this experience because the Sloth/Monkey tour through our cruise line was fully booked but in the end, we could not have been happier! This day was one of our absolute favourites of our entire vacation; entirely because of the experience given to us by our drivers. We were met at the cruise terminal by Isis and Jose (a husband and wife team) who immediately took us to the private, air conditioned, van (that easily fit 4 adults and two children) that we’d be using for the length of the tour. We then made our way to the Rum factory, the chocolate factory and finally the animal sanctuary. At the animal sanctuary, we got to have our pictures taken with Michael the monkey and snuggle with a sloth; that was the most amazing part of our adventure! Throughout the day, Isis shared her wealth of knowledge about Roatan and easily answered all of our questions about island living. We learned about their family, culture and all the amazing things they’re doing to help those in need; including building houses through an organization called Dwellings Now. This entire tour was personal, relaxing and beyond worth the money we paid. We happily gave an additional tip directly to Isis and Jose at the end of the tour and highly recommend this tour to anyone who may be considering it!

5.00The guides were awesome and the experience was amazing. Loved learning some knowledge about the island. Our guide at the sloth and monkey tour was very knowledgeable and funny. 100% would do it again and recommend to friends.

5.00Our tour guide was Jerry, and he was absolutely amazing! He was understanding especially in beginning when our times got mixed up on when to meet. When hit a snag with horseback riding he was able to find another spot for us! He also took us to a local place, where the food was amazing. He also bought us a local corn dish with milk, for us. we had an amazing time with Jerry!
