Your Vespa Rome Small Group Tour begins in the heart of Rome where you will strap your helmet on and follow your tour guide on an unforgettable journey. We put your safety first by beginning the tour driving away from the busy city center and up to the hills of Rome. Take in the view from above the city and be inspired by the photo-worthy Roman rooftops. You are sure to be the envy of your friends as you whisk around the city, visiting more places in 3 hours than you could visit in an entire day on foot.

IMPORTANT: A valid International Driving Permit (IDP) is mandatory to drive a vespa, and must contain a photo. This is a legal requirement to drive in Italy.
A driving license is required with a minimum of 1 year’s experience.
The rental company requires a €500 (per Vespa) security deposit to be blocked on the driver’s credit card for insurance purposes. Please bring an active card which will be held throughout the duration of your tour.
Please wear comfortable clothes and prepare to wear a helmet the entire ride.
You must have experience driving a scooter on busy roads to take this tour without a driver.
In order to book this experience, you must be at least 2 participants.
Each Vespa has two seats, one for the driver and one for a potential passenger.
Each adult/student booked will be given a Vespa to drive themselves
Any “passenger” booked must have a driver. The driver may be someone in your group, or you may choose to “add-on” a private driver, who will drive the Vespa for you.You may not book more “passengers” than drivers
The guide will drive his/her own Vespa and will not carry a passenger.

5.00I can’t imagine any better way to see Rome than from inside a Vespa sidecar. This experience is one of the top things I’ve done across seven continents of world travel because it’s just such a perfect match between the place and the very best way to see it. You really feel the spirit of the place. You also feel like a minor celebrity, with so many people smiling and waving at you. My guide Brando was a true expert in history and showed me so many hidden aspects of the city that I wouldn’t have otherwise found. Viewpoints, stories and special moments abound. I loved every minute. Do yourself a favor and book this tour.

5.00We did a vespa sidecar tour with Alice and Simeon, and it was amazing. It was so fun riding the streets of Rome. They were great with our kiddos and helped them create a core memory. She gave us history as we went along and overall a great convenient way to explore this amazing city. Truly an experience.

5.00It was such a great and unique experience! Exploring Rome on a Vespa and seeing it at sunset was just fantastic! Alice was my guide, and she shared many interesting historical facts about Rome. She also brought me to a place with delicious ice cream and recommended where to enjoy authentic food and the best coffee. I loved it! Huge thanks to Alice and LivTours!
Wife and I saw all of Rome in 3.5 hours with all the history told to us while driving a Vespa. :)

5.00Spin was fantastic! Took us to literally every spot in Rome and provided amazing back stories of the history. We were lucky enough to be only him and my wife and I so he took us through all the small alleys and neighborhoods. Highly recommend this tour. Need a little experience riding a bike though as it’s lots of traffic and cobblestone streets. Try and get Spin as your guide. He will make it memorable.

5.00Ricardo was a wonderful guide. He’s a Roman native and a foodie. He was super friendly and informative. We toured around in August in the morning so we were lucky to have minimal traffic. We had two Vespas with my 10 and 13 year old. I definitely recommend this tour since it’s the best way to get around.

5.00What a super cool way to see so much of Rome in 3 hours. Not only was it convenient, comfy and informative, it was excellent to have tourists and locals waive was we sped by! Great history knowledge from Alice and Mattia and very safe driving. An absolute treat to do.
