The John Paul II route tour covers the most important places connected with the pope. The main attractions are the John Paul the II Museum established in the pope's family home, visiting Kalwaria Zebrzydowska (listed at UNESCO), and the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Krakow. This full-day tour by minivan with an English-speaking driver is a pirvate tour and group in museum has maximum of 15 people.
*Please be aware that Licensed Guided (in English, Spanish or Italian) is only at Wadowice Musuem. Othere venues does not include guide. Driver speaks english and polish only.

Tour guide is included only in Saint John Paul 2 Museum. At Kalwaria Zebrzydowska Sancturay, Sanctuary of Divine Mercy and John Paul II center in Łagiewniki there is only assistance of english speaking driver.

Family Home of John Paul II
Meet a driver at your accommodations in Krakow for 9am departure, then begin the hour-long trip to Wadowice, Pope John Paul II's hometown in southern Poland. Make the first stop of the day at the John Paul II Family Museum, established in the Pope's family home, with a series of interactive exhibits that follow his life year by year, from his early childhood through his time as a student, the Second World War, his period as a priest, and the attempt against his life. There is no live Guide during COVID - only audioguide.
Kalwaria Zebrzydowska Santuario
After roughly two hours in Wadowice, continue to the Kalwaria Zebrzydowska Sanctuary, the second most frequently-visited pilgrimage sanctuary in Poland and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll have about an hour in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska Sanctuary.

5.00I am lucky to experience this tour of Faith, and knowledge about the holy life St John Paul and Saint Faustina. The basilica, monestary, chapels are beautiful with its own architectural beauty. I thank God for this wonderful experience. I am thankful that Pawell was our driver and guide. His patience especially in guiding and assisting my friend ( slow to walk) is admirable. He is pleasant to talk to, respectful and my friends enjoy chatting with him. Highly recommend him and this tour. This is what I like about touring…culture, food knowledge and meeting new friends.

As much as anything, we enjoyed our conversations along the way with our excellent guide, Pawel. He shared so much about Polish life, and he was genuine and accommodating. 5.00The convenience of hotel pick up, comfort and safety in a well appointed van with an English speaking driver/ guide makes the long day of visits stress-free and very enjoyable. The knowledge of and reverence for these holy sites demonstrated by our guide, Jack, was very much appreciated by our family of five. Truly the highlight of our trip to Poland this Christmas season.

5.00The driver Adam was good and helpful. We were delighted to hear Mass in the cathedral and join the congregation at 3 pm for the chaplet that was sung- the entire day was spent in prayer, reflection as we got to learn of two saints and the lives they led. Highly recommended.

5.00Krakow Direct, the tour operator, did a great job with logistics on this tour and the tour to Auschwitz-Birkinau the prior day. Our John Paul tour was a private tour. Our tour guide, Paweł, picked us up promptly and proved relaxing very well informed day. Including a stop for one of Poland’s favorite pastries. We enjoyed a very detailed story of how a boy who lost his immediate family, became a great man and later Pope, making this world a ittle better.
