As some of the most experienced guides, they analyze weather predictions prior to every tour, and have close contact with a network of guides for the highest chances to see the Northern Lights. The comfortable vehicle is fully equipped with everything you may need in the Arctic, allowing the group to discover remote scenery, reaching more calm and peaceful places. Pick you is at a central location in Tromsø, allowing for more time for finding, and seeing the Aurora earlier! With no two nights the same, our enthusiasm and dedication never fades.
Upon reaching suitable skies, we will set up camp for the evening. Most of the time this is a shorter drive to the surrounding coastal islands of Tromsø, or if needed a longer drive into Finland.

5.00We were collected by our guide Thomass & driver Matias. They explained what we may expect. We travelled to several short stops chasing the aurora then success. We got advice for photography, had our special photo taken, enjoyed soup, cookies & hot drinks around the campfire where we learned the science & stories about the aurora. They went out of their way to make each guest feel welcome & warm.

5.00I had done similar minibus tours with other agencies but this year I decided to try them and they are much better by far. I did two aurora hunting tours and both Anna and Filip and Lucas did a wonderful job taking us to places to see them and worrying about our comfort. I will definitely repeat with them since they are 10/10.

5.00Guide (Filip & Anna) are very attentive, making sure that we are all comfortable during our tour. From helping us getting into the winter suit to making sure we get the best spot to see the Aurora. Highly recommended. Filip is very knowledgeable, and the pictures taken are fantastic. Anna is superb driver and very helpful.

5.00Fantastic experience- a dream come true. The tour was well organised with a professional experienced driver and safe vehicle. We were so happy with Bogdan as our guide- he was so experienced, friendly and took phenomenal pictures. We had multiple sightings on one night. I would recommend Northern Soul Adventures 150%.

5.00We did this tour last night with Thomas and Lucas. We were very lucky to get 2 great shows from the lights! Thomas and Lucas were brilliant, they have taken great photos and were very knowledgable about the lights. They were patient and ensured we had a great evening. Can’t recommend enough!

5.00This tour operator have been brilliant since i first booked with them. On the day we arrived at the designated pick up spot in Tromso and were greeted on time by a very friendly guide. We set off in good time in a very comfortable and spacious minibus. After 90 minutes or so we stopped for a comfort break and it was at this time i realised that we may not make it back in time for the all aboard time on our cruise ship. Northern Souls arranged a taxi to take us back. So even though my wife and i were unable to complete the trip i am super happy with the way Northern Soul conducted themselves and i would recommend them highly. They even gave us a refund when i requested which was lovely considering the fact we couldnt complete the excursion was nothing to do with them. When we return within the next 18 months we will be using this tour operator.

5.00Fede was an amazing guide; friendly, knowledgeable (in Aurora hunting and photography) and responsible. On a difficult night cloud-wise, he worked hard, smart and effectively to get us to the right spots at the right time, and took some amazing shots for us. Great food, hot chocolate and campfire was a bonus. Thanks heaps Fede!
