Bernardo and his crew gave us an unforgettable barefoot cooking lesson on the beach. They were warm, welcoming, and made the whole experience fun and easy to follow. Cooking with the ocean as our backdrop felt magical, and the dishes we learned to make were delicious. The team was professional, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. We absolutely loved every minute and highly recommend Bernardo’s beachside cooking lessons! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful time learning the traditions and culture of the area. We received excellent step by step instructions from Bernardo and his team on how to prepare and enjoy our delicious fish dish while viewing the beautiful ocean views of Cozumel! In addition to our fish, we especially enjoyed our ceviche made with fresh fish caught when we arrived, and a lovely dessert at the end! This is a great excursion for all group sizes.

wonderful. highly recommend. worth every penny. Bernardo was a wealth of knowledge. beach was nice, pool was good sized and the hammocks were perfect for an after lunch nap

Bernardo and Jocelyn were both sweet souls!!!!! Food was delicious and the communion with the staff was just amazing!!!!! The food and the cooking activity were authentic and immersive!!! We arrived here as acquaintances but leaving at family!!!! Will def be back

This was a very informative personable excursion. We got history and personal stories while learning to cook. Sitting and eating our masterpiece like family made the experience even nicer. After the meal, you get to enjoy the relaxing view of the ocean while chilling in a hammock or the pool if you'd like.

We enjoyed a delightful afternoon at the Barefoot Fish Guided Cookout beach club, as an excursion offered on our Viking cruise trip. Our guide/host, Bernardo, was fantastic: so gracious, knowledgeable, and helpful. He explained and guided us in each preparing a delicious fish, vegetables, and traditional spices/flavors dish for our lunch. Super delicious, flavorful, and authentic Mayan cuisine! The beach club is very simple, no frills, but comfortable and relaxing. It also offers other activities such as speed boating, etc. A true hidden gem.
