We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. So interesting. Phil is great at relaying the stories from the past. Seeing the old heritage listed buildings and back lanes of Rockhampton was also a bonus.

Enjoyed our tour tonight. Phil was a fantastic guide with his history and story telling. The Ghost, Murder and Jack the Ripper Night Walk was entertaining and it was great to get a different perspective of the town and hear some of Rockhampton’s history. Thanks :)

Awesome! Phil is such a brilliant guide and his curiosity, meticulous research and nose for a great story make for a sensational tour. Beforehand I thought the Jack the Ripper thing was a gimmick… it’s not! Have done his graveyard tour too, definitely a must do.

My son enjoyed the history side of it, but I’m afraid that I’m more of a ghost fan. I was disappointed that most of it was just history.

This is the second guided tour of have done with Time Safaris and they never disappoint. Phil is an excellent storyteller and I feel his background as a historian means you won't discover this information anywhere else but on his tours. We did the new Night Historic Cemetry Tour - it was so interesting with just the right amount of spooky. We have also done the 'Murder and Jack the Ripper Walk' which is equally as entertaining. Rockhampton has an astonishing history and Phil is doing an excellent job of not only preserving it but also bringing it to life. Well worth the money.

The tour was very well researched concentrating on the dark history of yesteryear. From the weird to the murderous - but mainly the latter. The research that went into this interesting walk, and presentation of stories related to all the macabre history of Rockhampton, was fascinating and well worth the time and low cost. Our host obviously enjoys his occupation. Well done to him. (He’d be a fantastic dinner party guest too. He is a cross between Vincent Price and the compare on Ripley’s ‘Believe it or not.’)
