Are dietary restrictions accommodated? Vegetarian and vegan guests are welcome. Due to the pastry-heavy nature of Austrian cuisine, gluten allergies are harder to accommodate.
Are children allowed on the tour? This tour is best suited for adults and older children. For that reason, it’s not recommended for children under 12.

You’ll taste a wide variety of authentic Viennese dishes and drinks. Highlights include a seasonal pastry with coffee or tea, a ham and horseradish sandwich with a spritzer, iced apricot dumpling, and a typical Austrian lunch, like schnitzel or a vegetarian specialty, paired with Grüner Veltliner wine or a local beer. You’ll also sample street food favorites such as goulash, pork roast, or a vegetarian snack. It’s a true feast that offers a real taste of Vienna’s food culture.
What kind of food is included? Guests can look forward to a seasonal strudel with tea or Viennese coffee, a hearty lunch with a main course (such as schnitzel, goulash, or a vegetarian option), a warm dessert, and a glass of Austrian wine or beer. The tour also includes street food tastings like pork roast or a vegetarian alternative, and a visit to a traditional coffeehouse with a choice of tea, Viennese coffee, or hot chocolate.

5.00We had an excellent Vienna food tour—great mix of cafés, markets, and classic Austrian bites, with plenty of local context along the way. Everything was well paced and thoughtfully chosen. Patrick was wonderful: friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience fun and easy. Highly recommend if you want to eat like a local and learn a lot in a few hours.

5.00Would totally recommend Patrick was a very knowledgeable guide, the food was absolutely amazing - 5 stars! and it was so easy to get around by public transport. I loved the fact it was out of the main city in the suburbs and we were supporting local family businesses -6 hours went fast you will not leave this tour hungry very generous servings of delicious food with a side of history and culture- we waddled home. Fantastic day

5.00So glad I did this tour. Not only did we get to sample authentic Austrian food and drinks, but our guide, Maria, gave us a great oversight of the city (and public transportation!) as a whole. I was with a lovely group and it was sehr Wunderbar! Highly recommend.

5.00This was such a fun tour but oh my goodness come hungry! Our guide MaryAnn was fantastic in providing history and context to the food culture in Vienna. I especially liked that we traveled to different districts to experience places not within the main tourist area. I also loved that MaryAnn took photos throughout the tour that she shared with us at the end.

5.00One of the best “local” food tours we have done. The sites chosen were had amazing food and drinks. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable regarding history of Vienna and also very well versed on the history of Vienna’s famous dishes.

5.00This tour was amazing! Patrick was a super tour guide and it was clear he loved what he was doing. This was more food than we could possibly eat but we tried our hardest as everything was delicious! We saw parts of the city we would never see ourselves, and learned a fair bit about how to get around on public transportation. Highly recommend!
