Your professional English speaking Chauffeur will be waiting for you when your flight lands. He will have a sign with your name on for you to easily spot him. After you have met, you will start your drive towards Rome which will take about 45 minutes.Please note that traveling time is indicative and may be affected by traffic conditions for the day and time your transfer is due. Once in Rome you'll drive by the major sites for one hour before being dropped off at your hotel in the city. If you'd like more time, please choose the EXTENDED VERSION of this tour. *For door-to-door service, please ensure your hotel/accommodation is accessible by vehicles for passenger drop-offs. Otherwise, your driver will stop as close as lawfully possible and assist you on foot to your accommodation The maximum number of passengers a large van can accommodate is 8. Highly recommended this tour. It was the perfect way to begin our trip to Italy! Michele was a fantastic tour guide. We had the opportunity to see places that we would not have seen while staying in Rome, plus we had a great overview of the city.

Our experience with RomeCabs was wonderful from the start. They were very responsive to any questions I had via email. I booked an airport transfer for 6 people (and luggage for 11 day cruise) with a 2 hour tour before being dropped at our hotel. Upon arrival, I immediately heard from Michele. We were able to connect at arrivals and off we went on our tour. Some of our group have never been to Rome and others have done the major sites. Michele was awesome and gave us options. We decided to focus on sites outside the city center that we would have easy access to from our hotel. We loved it!

Sunday Am, arrival from Athens into FCO Airport . Our Driver, Giovanni waiting holding a Tablet with our name on it. Luggage stowed and then we were off on an Orientation Tour around Rome. Many roads were very congested due a Bruce Springsteen Concert being set-up in the Circus Maximus. However, Giovanni provided us with a wonderful Tour of Rome.

Our airport pick-up and 4-hour tour by Daniela was a wonderful way to start our vacation. She was easy to find at the airport and had the energy and love for her adopted city to keep us awake and engaged - our pick-up was at 7:30 AM! While she showed us the main sights like the column and the Vatican, the highlights were some of the out-of-the-way places she took us to like the Janiculum Hill and Papal Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls. Will definitely use Stefano's the next time we are in Rome!

Michelle met us on time at FCO and provided a fabulous three hour tour around Rome, with stops at the major attractions for exploration and photos and a quick lunch stop. Then he transferred us to our pre- cruise hotel in Civitavecchia. Friendly and knowledgeable. Very nice vehicle. Highly recommend.

First trip to Europe. In Rome for two days prior to cruising the Greek isles. Booked as soon as it was recommended by our travel agent, Luxury Travel by Debbi. Stefano's Roma Cabs has an excellent web site with all the information you need. We chose the VIP transfer with 2 hour tour since we were arriving early in the morning and hotel check in was not until 2pm. Our flight was over an hour late arriving in Rome. No problem! Our driver, Daniela, sent us a text to tell us where to meet her. After a brief walk to the parking area, we entered a beautiful Mercedes SUV for our ride to the hotel. Now for the best part. We had no specific itinerary, other than the usual places you would expect a first time visitor would want to see (Coliseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps). We asked her to take us to the places she thought we should see. She covered all of the above and more! The Basilica at Saint Paul was our first stop. Wow! As stated on the website, the driver stays with the car. She gave us 20 minutes to go look inside. She took us to see her favorite fountain in the city in the Trastevere neighborhood of Rome. She offered to take pictures of us anytime we asked. For the major sites, she drove us as close as she could, then allowed us to get out of the car, see the site, take our pictures, and return to the car. In summary, I heartily recommend this company, and especially Daniela, who made our first trip to Rome so memorable.

Michele did such a good job. Our flight was delayed & our luggage was lost so it delayed us even longer. He waited and still took us on a fabulous tour! We wanted to do the 4 hour tour but ended up with only 2 due to the delay. He was more than accommodating & suggested things to see & was so knowledgeable and entertaining. I highly recommend Michele & this company!

We booked the VIP Private Airport Tour with the Four Hour Tour, and we are so happy we did! Salvino was the perfect guide for us, he entertained us with facts about Rome we were not aware of, and was very professional and clearly communicated meeting points, which were as close as possible for any driver to reach to each of the sites we had preselected to visit during our 4 hour tour. We were able to avoid excessive walking in the hot weather, see all the sites we had wanted to visit, plus extra locations based on Salvino's wise tips. We would never have been able to visit all the locations we had without a RomeCabs tour.You have the option to go to sites within Rome you want to visit, or listen to the wise suggestions of your RomeCabs driver, or a combination of both. Be aware the driver stays with the vehicle, and does not accompany you to the actually sites themselves, but in most cases he or she is only a few feet away, and in our case, Salvino prepared us by giving us plenty of description and details beforehand of each of the sites we visited. We would definitely recommend this tour and highly recommend Salvino!

I recently used Rome Cabs for an airport transfer and one-hour orientation tour around/in Rome. It was excellent! I have been to Rome twice before, but my travel companion had not. I wish my first visit had started with a tour like this! We had a limited amount of time in Rome so this was a great way to see see a lot of things that we couldn't during out trip. The driver was very knowledgeable, and although she was not a paid tour guide (i.e., had all the requisite training/license), she was born and raised in Rome and I learned a few things I did not know. (Unfortunately, I have completely forgotten her name!). I 100% recommend Rome Cabs for your transportation needs when in Italy.
