When you finish exploring the mine, take a lift upstairs by "Szola" which is an old traditional, industrial elevator for miners.

5.00What can I say it was a fantastic day out. Our driver Olaf (not the snowman lol) was brilliant. We were picked up from our hotel and we were the only couple. He gave us a wee history lesson en-route and let us know what to expect. The salt mines were amazing and the tour guide was very informative. Lots of walking and stairs to go down btw. Our driver Olaf picked us up when it finished and offered to take us anywhere in krakow if we didn’t want to go back to the hotel. On the whole it was a great day out, well worth it.

5.00The salt mine guided tour surpassed all our expectations, and was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended to everyone. There are many steps down to the initial phase of the mine, but everyone managed the descent, young and old.

5.00The guided tour of the salt mine was so informative and brilliant. You must visit the salt mine when you are in Krakow. We were picked up from the hotel by Olaf, and he was superb. Olaf explained everything in great detail, and he went above and beyond the call of duty. Absolutely brilliant trip, and thank to Olaf for being such a brilliant guide.
