Guests may activate ticket in two ways: 1. Download and open the Big Bus app. Tap "Add Booking" and enter your booking reference. On the day of travel, open your ticket and press "Activate" then show your activated ticket to the driver at any stop along the route. Plus, use the app for route information and live bus tracking. 2. Redeem voucher and activate with Big Bus staff at 7th Ave & W 48th St (Outside M&Ms World), or with a driver at any stop along the route.

1.00On our first trip, the driver cleared our bus at 2:45 pm blocks from a regular stop. We hoofed it in the cold then got a cab. We did not ride again given our experience. The company despite documentation will not refund for our family if 5. So many options - choose another one. We should have!

4.00It was a great bus ride! Just a few things to change: I wish there were more workers out giving directions on where to pick up the bus. Never been to New York, it was confusing. There were workers from the other bus company everywhere. I wish the app, gave me the spots to go to get the bus. I had to go back to the website to remember where I needed to go. It would have been nice if we could hear where the bus was going. They ran out of headphones. Put the volume low, so everyone could hear.

1.00This bus service was horrible! The booking reference number I was given through Viator did not match the alpha numeric format that the Big Bus app expects, therefore I couldn’t download my tickets. I tried reaching out several times for help and they kept emailing back saying they had resolved my issue when they had not! We paid a lot for three of us to have 72 hour passes, but lost an entire day. The drivers were extremely rude and none of the attendants were able to help me. Everyone passed the buck. It didn’t seem to matter that the company had already taken our money and we were losing time. The audio tour was prerecorded and sorely lacking in information and that was if you could get the headsets to work. Huge disappointment all the way around. I wish I knew if there is a better option out there, but I would not recommend Big Bus!

3.00Good for getting to know the areas to visit. Our family used it as a scouting excursion and then decided what areas to revisit. We started early so had no problems finding seating until later in the evening when there were more people on board and having to wait for a bus with enough seats.

1.00App very hard to manage and you can’t see the stops. It said every 1/2 hour and we didn’t see one for over an hour. Once we got on the bus and were on it, approximately, half way into the bus, we pulled up in front of Brooklyn Deli (i remember because we asked directions in there) and one female tour operator got everybody off the bus and said you need to go to the other bus which was in front of ours. The tour operator wanted to see everyones tickets and we her our tickets to get on the other bus, she said you were on the wrong bus and you need to walk to 49th Street. She then said “why did you book it from us” we work on commission and this wouldn’t of happened. I said I didn’t know, she very rude to us and said she couldn’t deal with us anymore and we had to talk to another tour person who said we need to walk 12 blocks up to the M&M stop if I recall.

4.00If you have a list of NYC highlights you want to see and not much time in which to see them, this bus is good value. Although it's not cheap, we felt that the 48-hour ticket was worth it for the stress and effort it saved us. We were taken to all the "must see" locations without having to think about how to get there or navigate NYC's public transport system. Having half the top seats covered on most of the buses was a bonus, or if you are only going one stop, there are a few seats downstairs too.

1.00Uptown tour. We went to wha was the first stop on the route, and there was a staff member there walking around. We asked when the next bus was, he said 2 words to us; ‘10, Tickets’ we showed him them, he didn’t acknowledge and just walked off. He continued to walk around, and tbh annoyed a lot of people waiting with his arrogance and odd behaviour. Bus was late, tour information was far between and very repetitive. We got off early as we were bored!

1.00Terrible experience, had to get our own ride back as every bus full and certainly didn't come by as often as they claimed . REDUND would have been appropriate.
