Guests may activate ticket in two ways: 1. Download and open the Big Bus app. Tap "Add Booking" and enter your booking reference. On the day of travel, open your ticket and press "Activate" then show your activated ticket to the driver at any stop along the route. Plus, use the app for route information and live bus tracking. 2. Redeem voucher and activate with Big Bus staff at 7th Ave & W 48th St (Outside M&Ms World), or with a driver at any stop along the route.

Rude and aggressive sales staff who don't leave you alone even on the bus!

1.00We bought the New York go city pass and the big bus tour are the bus company they use. We chose to spend a ticket on the 48 hour hop on hop off bus. We did the downtown route no problems and the bus driver was friendly and very nice. Unfortunately doing the uptown route was awful. When we arrived to get on the bus (where it starts) the man representing the company was obnoxious and rude, he didn't want to know us as we had already bought tickets. He told us(rudely) to go and stand in that queue! When the bus arrived he insisted on seeing our paper tickets which were at the bottom of my bag! We had downloaded the big bus app and all our tickets were on there but he just wouldn't accept that!? What is the point of having all these app and the technology and not being able to use it? He was so rude to us ushering us over to the side of the road and insisting on me finding the tickets he would not even look at the app . I do believe he was hoping i would not be able to find my paper tickets and he was in for a sale! Once we found them he didn't say a word just pointed to the bus. Once on the bus it was very dirty and full of litter, the seats were uncomfortable (it was a very old bus) not at all like the one in the morning. After a few stops a ticket seller for the big bus company got on the bus came upstairs and wanted to sell us tickets??? How would we have got on the bus without them???? She wanted to again see our tickets? I thought this was really out of order, these touts (who are company representatives) are constantly after your money even when you have tickets, It totally ruins the experience. As soon as you have bought them they don't want to know. I wish now we had used our go city ticket for something else. We ended up only taking the bus to do the two routes once in the whole 48 hours we could have used it. We just didn't want the hassle when we were on holiday and thats not how you should feel about an experience. My friend who went the week before recommended the Top view bus and wish we could have tried them instead.

1.00I’m writing to report an unacceptable incident on a Big Bus New York tour. The driver was more than rude — he was aggressive and outright disrespectful to my grandmother, who is over 70 years old. He yelled at her inside the bus simply because she changed seats. There was no safety issue, no announcement she ignored, and no reason for this behavior. We chose Big Bus to enjoy New York together, not to subject a senior to humiliation. This kind of conduct shows a shocking lack of basic courtesy and training. My family and I will not be using Big Bus again, and I urge the company to review camera footage, identify the driver, and provide remedial training and accountability. Seniors deserve dignity, not public scolding. Bottom line: This behavior was unprofessional, unnecessary, and deeply upsetting. Do better.

1.00Purchased tickets at start of their downtown tour at 2:07 p.m. on 10/18/25. We only had that day to use bus as we had to get to cruise ship next day. Told them we wanted to see 2 things. WTC and Strawberry Fields. Talked in to the 2 lines. Male sales person would not let female sales person get a word in to talk to us. Traffic was SLOW probably because of no King demonstration. Went to WTC and left there shortly after 4:30 p.m. Did not know we couldn't get on blue line when our bus stopped at 5 p.m. at end of route. Weren't given info about audio as to where we were. Had to try to navigate paper map and app. Ended up getting cab to Central Park then pedal cart to Strawberry Fields just before dusk. Very disappointed. In-your-face hard sales.

1.00Driver never spoke to us, didn't scan our ticket, didn't point out any landmarks. We felt like we were riding the city bus. Definitely a waste of $130.

5.00Easy way to get around and tour a bustling town like NY. Once on bus, catch a good seat and catch photos of NY skylines, Times Square, and everything about NY. NY is such a beautiful city. Highly recommend the Intrepid museum, so much to see. Get off at Lafayette stop and head to Chinatown for some dimsum and shopping for NY gifts. If short on time, this is a good way to get around.
Loveless, expensive, pointless. Pure rip-off

1.00Buses were full and you couldn't get in. Duration downtown loop over 3 hours as the buses are also stuck in traffic. The announcements mostly did not fit the place where you were. Price for that totally overdone. Ticket sellers are waiting for their victims like soul sellers. Bus old and dirty Can you save yourself absolutely - terrible Enterprise
