Our entertaining guides bring the area's rich past to life. Though originally residential, markets have thrived here since the 1840s. By the 1930s, the Meatpacking District produced the nation’s 3rd-largest volume of dressed meats. While trendy spots now dominate, five meatpacking companies remain as the neighborhood constantly evolves. 5.00Sergio was the best. He was very knowledgeable had great energy and made the tour a blast!! do not eat before you go on this tour. I made the mistake and had a bagel an hour before and ended up leaving with my food in a box from the tour. You will be fed with great food, a delightful host with Sergio and a great view of this part of New York City.

5.00This was one of our very favorite tours we have done with Viator! If you have a chance - highly recommend! Justin, our tour guide was fantastic! He taught us some really interesting fun facts and was incredibly thorough in this food tour. Learned lots about the history of this iconic area in NYC and the High line tour was great as well! If you get a chance don’t miss out on this one!

5.00If you want to check out this part of NYC this is great way to do it! Our guide Chris took us through Chelsea Market with stops at wonderful food stalls and dropped lots of history and facts as we enjoyed so many yummy treats. Then it was on to the Highline. I had walked it before but didn’t know any of the building or areas history until this tour. It was a great way to enjoy this part of the city. Chris even gave us wonderful recommendations on places we should try and we did have the best bowl of noodles I’ve ever had.
