Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine
We are here to help you discover new things, the Fushimi Inari Shrine is so more than its famous tunnels of vermillion-red torii gates. Most people are satisfied by a scenic view of it. But this has a lot of stories to tell that will connect you to the Japan's history and culture and your guide will show you deeper. You will see a fascinating story attached to the origin of the shrine dedicated to the god of grains – that’s what “Inari” means – . This is also why you’ll see statues of the fox around the shrine. “Kitsune” or the fox is a servant to the god Inari. They are cunning tricksters, clever minded animals who make perfect guides for the treacherous business world. You may would want the foxes on your side after this tour.

Great tour of the importance sites. Needed to take taxis between some of the sites. Still lots of walking up hills. I learned lots of Japanese history in this historical capital.

Seiko was an outstanding tour guide—engaging, highly informative, and incredibly easy to connect with. Our afternoon in Kyoto kicked off with a captivating visit to a historic shrine, followed by a delightful tour of a local sake brewery. Despite the steady rain, we savored every moment, deepening our understanding of Japanese culture through Seiko's insightful stories and thoughtful recommendations. A truly helpful and enriching experience!

We absolutely loved our walking tour in Kyoto! Our guide, Tomy, went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable. He was so knowledgeable about the history and culture. Tomy took us around Kyoto seamlessly and shared so many great stories and local tips along the way. We used public transportation for getting to farther apart destinations, all of which, Tomy helped tremendously. He even helped us with recommendations for the rest of our trip, which turned out to be some of our favorite places we visited in Japan. I highly recommend this tour!!

Our Guide Hiro was excellent. She coordinated before the tour with us for a meeting place and met us right at our car from the Shinkansen and changed the original time booked to a half hour sooner so that we could start the tour right away. Hiro shared a lot about Kyoto and the three places we visited making the visit a once in a lifetime experience. Hiro allowed plenty of time for us to rest and take pictures. Fun Experience!
