The tour was great and offered interesting and surprising information about the Fushimi-Inari shrine at a peaceful time to explore. My guide, Masaki, did a great job leading, taking photos, and answering questions. He shared great information on how we ourselves could pray and interact with shrines as well as how / why locals do. He went above and beyond by providing fantastic information afterwards about nearby food and shopping of any kind. Masaki made this tour fantastic.

This was a fantastic tour-to see the shine and walk through the toriis at night was a magical, other worldly experience. Masaki, our guide, was the other great part of the tour. He was so knowledgeable, having lived in Kyoto all his life. He was a fount of information about Shintoism, traditions, rituals and meanings. And so personable and patient with the questions-about the shrine, Kyoto or Japan. This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip.

Masaki was the best guide I’ve had on a TripAdvisor tour. His English was excellent and he was well informed on the history of the temple. He made our random group of five feel welcomed and comfortable. He made sure we had time to take photos and ask questions. I would gladly book another tour with him!

Hiro and Navi were amazing with the history and fun facts about the Fushimi-Inari Shrine, we learnt so much! And they were super sweet since it was raining, and we were the only people on the tour! I love how we were able to really look at everything in detail with no crowds. Hiro did message us earlier on WhatsApp to confirm and update us on the location, which is really helpful!

Very polite well spoken and knowledgeable. Was wonderful experience being lead by Vincent through the shrine and he was happy to answer any questions we had. Will be recommending him to my friends who will Be coming down to Kyoto next year so they can enjoy the experience too.

Jem is a very knowledgeable and an organized guide who did a wonderful job keeping the group together and making sure we all understood the historical value of the shrines. Highly recommend the tour and next time I'm in Kyoto I will take another tour with Jem.

This tour by night was awesome, the location is beautiful, and our tour guide Navid, was friendly, professionnal and super knowledgeable about the historical context of this shrine ! My wife and I spent a very good time to visit at night (far from peak crowded time during the day). We would definitely recommend it to anyone who is traveling to Kyoto. Bonus : before leaving, Navid recommend some japanese restaurants to try during our journey. We really appreciated it !
