A lovely and informative tour! Mariko knew so much about Kyoto and the sites we visited, answered our numerous questions and took the time to ensure we understood how to approach temples and shrines respectfully. This tour will be a vacation highlight for sure!

What a great evening of learning about parts of Kyoto from a locals perspective. Ikki was awesome, very informative and super friendly. Definitely made our first night in Kyoto a fun and memorable experience. Would highly recommend this tour and Ikki as a tour guide.

Tour was just fantastic. Ikki our guide is local Japanese guide who is so passionate about Kyoto that you get to experience everything from a more local lens. We loved the tour, had so much fun,learnt so much, great secret photo spots... Highly recommend

After our wonderful morning tour with IKKI, we decided to join OTAKU hopper’s night tour as well — and it was absolutely the right choice. Experiencing Kyoto after sunset offered a completely different kind of beauty, with softly lit temples and quiet streets creating a magical atmosphere. The tour was perfectly organized, allowing us to enjoy famous spots without the crowds. Knowing we were in such caring and capable hands made the evening even more special.

Great tour guiding by Yui! Beautiful sites, great pacing, fun facts, and cover lots of ground. This tour is a great value. You see a lot if only in Kyoto briefly or use it as an entry point to get your bearings upon arrival. Highly recommended.

Ikki was awesome! He took us around the entire city and shared his knowledge as a Kyoto resident to us. We saw quite a few of the main attractions in Kyoto, and we took a ton of awesome pictures! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique, private or group tour
