[Which store is convenient for me?] We have two stores in Kyoto: Gion Store: Located just a 2-minute walk from the Hanamikoji Street and Yasaka Shrine in Gion and a 15-minute walk from Kiyomizu Temple. This location is recommended for those who want to enjoy taking photos around Gion and Kiyomizu Temple. Kyoto Tower Store: Located 2 minutes from Kyoto Station. It includes the kimono, obi belt, Japanese clutch bag, sandals, tabi socks, and a simple hairstyle. For an additional fee, you can upgrade the kimono, accessories, and hairstyle as desired. Deluxe plan: This plan gives you the flexibility to choose from additional options. Upgrading the grade of the kimono and obi (Japanese belt) is also possible up to a certain level. Additionally, a standard hairstyle is included (only for women). Please note that the available choices of kimono grades may vary by store, so please check with the store for specific options. ※If you make a reservation after 3pm the day before, you may have to wait a little while at the store.

They also thought about how to choose a yukata together, so I enjoyed wearing it. It had been a long time since I wore a yukata, so I had a lot to worry about, but I was glad I chose a shop.

It was a unique experience to walk with the family in Tokyo in kimonos. However, it was very hot in the kimonos at about 35 degrees. The staff are very professional, very fast, very nice and know what they are doing. You can get somewhere with english. The standard kimonos were free, but the prettier ones cost from about plus two thousand yen more. Also the belts, the hair accessories, the bags , hairstyles, everything you felt better and more beautiful was equally more expensive. In the end we paid €46.98 per person (instead of €28.89).

Kimono is a very unique outfit & where else would we get to wear one, other than Japan. I booked the Kimono rental for the whole family, through their website. They have individual, couple, family & many other combos on their website. The booking is simple & straightforward. I had booked a 2:00 PM slot, however reached the place at 1:00 PM. The staff agreed to dress us up early as there weren't other customers. They had huge collection of Kimonos for men, women & children. Similar to regular outfits, Kimonos have small, medium, large sizes too & the staff tell us the appropriate size. The tricky part was that same color/pattern Kimono wasn't available in all sizes. So, even though we liked certain colors/patterns, it wasn't our size, so our plan to have color-coordinated outfits for the whole family, did not work in the end. They maintain a lot of cleanliness & hygiene, strict no food/drink policy. The staff were walking around in socks. We had to remove our shoes at the entrance. The whole experience with the dressing up & hair was very good. Definitely recommend this experience.

I went in search of a lovely used yukata for my daughter at the Wargo store just off Teramachi in Kyoto. What I found were disinterested staff and disinteresting products on the hangers and shelves. The only things worth the yen on offer where those on display - each of which had a large 'not for sale' notice attached. No comment.

We have booked online, we find out the information through Flo our photographers. The staff are nice and friendly but with little English knowledge.
