Experience the Churchill War Rooms which housed the British government during the Second World War. Uncover the underground complex where Sir Winston Churchill and military leaders mapped out victory against Hitler and the Axis powers.

With an audio guide leading your journey, follow in the footsteps of the Allied war effort throughout the Cabinet War Rooms. Explore the top-secret Map Room where you can still see how Allied intelligence tracked the advance and eventual retreat of German soldiers in Russia. Peek inside the secret communication room disguised as a toilet, and hear personal stories of what life was like inside the bunker during the Blitz.

Afterwards, discover more of political London with a self-guided audio tour. Navigate with a digital map and explore 15 points of interest, such as 10 Downing Street and the Houses of Parliament.

Not a great audio guide. I have a lot of respect for Churchill and his team during the war and this did NOT tell their story. No personality....and VERY expensive for what it had to offer. Also no where did I see the other political audio tour

Great narrated journey through a scary time in world history the docents were very informative and helpful. The Churchill museum was a slightly chaotic and challenging to navigate chronologically. Make sure you don’t exhaust yourself in there because it’s mid way through the tour

Very crowded at first display. Everyone afraid they are going to miss something. After that as crowd dispersed in different directions it became much more pleasant.

The war room is filled with interesting history. The many exhibits are put together with great attention to detail. Along with the audio I got a really good picture of what it was like for the many people that lived and worked there. History buffs will love it’

Wow- such a cool place- so much to see and learn. It takes more time to go through than you think- easily 2+ hours. I learned so much about Winston Churchill and WWII- but additionally about British history and its connection to the world. Just fantastic. Some words if warning- you can get information overload and sometimes it gets crowded inside .

The travelers from the USA should definitely go to this experience. We know very little about this and it is so important and interesting. Especially Churchill using women in important roles. Not a misogynist. Excellent to learn during those times.

Very well done give the visitor a very good idea of how it was for Churchill and the British government functioned during WW II would have preferred a live guide vs self guided

The underground bunker network occupied by Winston Churchill during the World War II bombing of London is totally fascinating. Unbelievable that the war operations were conducted from underground and that up to 500-1000 people were working and living there at any given time. The fact that so much of it has been preserved for history is just amazing, down to the sugar packet left on the desk of one officer. We spent so much time marveling we were kicked out at closing time before we got to really see the last two rooms. Guess we’ll have to go back someday.

This is a must see for all ages. The exhibit is a snapshot of a terrifying time in world history, precisely as it was during WWII. No window dressings. Those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it.
