1.00Plaza Lounge at Heatrow T5 has been getting progressively worse for a couple of years. We fly out of T5 2-3 times per year and have always booked Plaza Lounge. Recent visits have seen food quality/replenishment get worse and volume of people in the lounge increase. We have struggled to get a table on the last 2 visits, this visit no tables available so ended up standing for the majority of our time there. Some seats remain reserved while everyone else who has pre booked the Lounge take pot luck on getting a seat. Won't be booking again, standard restaurants in T5 now offer greater value and at least we'll both be able to get a seat.

1.00They accept anybody willing to pay and it was like a cattle market with cases everywhere causing blocked aisles and definitely a trip hassard. As we had paid in advance they did not accomadate the flow of people correctly and I am sure if there was a maximum capacity they exceeded it. Not enough seats and tables. We were lucky and sat in seats as 2 people were leaving. The food was not very varied and my first plate of food fell off a small round table and even mentioned this to staff which took a while to clear up. The best bit was the self service wine counter/bar.
