Odyssey is an a-maze-ing adventure where while trying to find your way out you will experience darker challenging spaces, quirky physical obstacles and challenges, illusions, lighting effects, scents, sound effects and strange sensations that all together provide you with a unique experience that you will never forget!
Odyssey is fun for all ages, great family entertainment and definitely a must see for all tourists. The incredible journey through Odyssey takes around 20 -30 minutes however there is no time limit to your adventure and you are free to discover Odyssey at your own pace. Odyssey is recommended for those aged 8 and over but if you would like to enquire about how suitable Odyssey is for your young ones, please feel free to get in touch!

When inside Odyssey Sensory Maze, you will be asked at all times to adhere to the following rules:
No personal belongings are to be taken inside the maze.
No shoes are allowed to be worn inside the maze.
No running throughout the maze.
You are not permitted to move backwards within the maze.
You must be respectful of other visitors.
We ask that you ensure you’re entirely comfortable before entering Odyssey and understand that you are entering at your own risk. We accept no responsibility for loss of property or injury to any person.

Odyssey Sensory Maze
Upon entering Odyssey Sensory Maze Auckland you'll be greeted by our friendly customer service representatives. A member of the customer service team will then begin to get you prepared to enter into our world of a-maze-ment including a full safety briefing as well as storing your personal items safely away in a locker for you to collect upon completing the maze. We'll also be happy to explain to you what you can expect to experience inside the maze but we like to keep the maze a bit of a mystery so we won't tell you everything you'll find... we'll leave that for you to discover on your journey. Once you're fully informed and prepared for the maze you'll then be left to enter the maze and explore each of our 12 rooms at leisure.

5.00Absolutely do the 1 hour unlimited. This was WAY beyond our expectations. So fun!!! 7/10&11 year olds (and me in mid 40s) all were able to easily partake and it was amazing.

2.00I thought it was overpriced. In reality you get through it in 15 minutes so I do think either it should be made longer or the price should reflect the time spent in the activity.
Sensory overload, mislabeling as a Maze and Emergency Exit doors not the best combo

2.00It’s not actually a maze; there is only one correct path. This misnomer is an issue because my girlfriend accidentally went through an Emergency Exit door and missed part of the experience. I went the correct way but we got separated. Ultimately we broke up.

4.00Can take good 30 mins for you to enjoy all of it. Just felt like it’s overstimulating and too enclosed for the space. Came here for our autistic boy to experience with us. He did enjoy over all, with a few pauses.

5.00This was such a surprisingly good experience. Each area is totally different. It’s engaging, fun, unique and the staff were wonderful. I’d highly recommend for families or the young at heart.

3.00Doing it for the first time, some of the rooms are novel and entertaining but the experience is over pretty quickly and I would have loved more. I would definitely say that for younger kids and teens, the experience is a lot of fun so I would suggest coming in a group with your kids and their mates to make it more fun. As you can do the maze multiple times, it will keep them busy for a while. The Doom Room, which you need to pay extra for, was a fun experience but thought it was overpriced for something lasting 666 seconds. I doubt many adults will be scared but I do admit it was fun.

2.00Bof. 15 minutes to do the course. No real feeling of having used our "5 senses". Just a course with some obstacles. I took the pass to do it again several times in an hour. After the second time (30min), we were already tired. Frankly, there's no point in killing time. Bowling is more fun!

3.00The revamped Odyssey is okay but not as good as before; the kids and I loved the old version, but the new rooms are less interactive, so we spent less time and didn't feel it was worth the entry fee.

5.00Fascinating :P definitely worth your while, I particularly enjoyed the fact the maze combined elements of sci-fi, ancient Egypt and Jules Verne -like exploration spaces 😎
