An unforgettable experience with Maki! Maki is an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and attentive to every detail. She made sure our group felt safe and had a fantastic time throughout the tour. The bikes were very comfortable, and the 4-hour duration was just right. We especially appreciated the fascinating insights into Japanese history, culture, and customs. If you're considering this tour, don’t hesitate—you won’t regret it!

Maki is a wonderful tour guide! She knows so much and has amazing energy. She was very thoughtful about pacing the day - trying to keep us dry as possible during on and off again rain! Definitely saw and learned more than I expected, and she’s really a delight. Bikes were easy and comfy. Most highly recommended!

Highly recommend this tour. Great locations that was a mix of a couple popular sites and ones that we would’ve definitely missed if it hadn’t been in this tour. Our tour guide Maki made our whole experience unforgettable and was the best host we could’ve asked for our group.

We found pedal adventures Kyoto on the TripAdvisor site at the last minute and boy were. we glad we did:). Maki was a phenomenal guide and explained so much to us not just the sites but the history and cultural meaning behind them. We learned a ton and had a blast doing it. I think we especially enjoyed the insights into Shinto shrines and they’re meaning in the community.

It was fantastic. Very educational. Maki knew how to tell a lot with posted humor! You come through streets you wouldn't otherwise go, very nice.

Maki was an amazing tour guide. We had her all to ourselves and she made the experience personal and genuinely enjoyed our time with her! The history she detailed as she related it to her family was appreciated as well. She fun, comedic, and this was the best thing we did our entire trip. Also took amazing photos for us! To Maki, thank you for making our time memorable - “buy sell buy sell”!! Inside joke lol

Take this tour if you want to experience the rich history of Kyoto. Our guide Mika grew up in Kyoto and was able to share both her personal experiences as well as communicate in perfect English the incredible history of this region. An ebike is a great way to get around this city and see the many sights it has to offer.
