2. One Hour Geisha Show in Gion (Just show, different tea house, has max 25 participants)

Maiko Theater (Look up "Maiko Theater" on Google Maps)

Please note that these are separate tours, however both include a Geisha show.

5.00Our guide, Satsuki, was wonderful and informative. She provided us with the rich history and traditions of Geikos and Maikos. It was a wonderful experience, and Maiko-san was beyond beautiful and gracefull. Highly recommend this experience.

5.00This was the best tour we have done! Ai our guide was incredible she knew the history of Kyoto and was so friendly. We got lucky it was only us on the so it was great! The tea house was so beautiful and the show with the Maiko was the highlight of our trip in Japan. Thank you Ai you were fantastic and we had the best day! Make sure you spend the money and do this tour!

5.00The main focus of this tour was meeting with the Geisha (meiko). Such a once-in-a-lifetime spectacular experience. It was 1 Meiko to 4 guests which was incredible to watch her dance, ask her questions and play a game with her! The guide preferred us to leave our geisha related questions to the Meiko but it would have been even better to have a really comprehensive introduction with all the history of geisha on the walking tour in the lead up to the meeting. Nevertheless, still highly recommended!

5.00The tour and show will be remembered as one of our favourite tours. Leaning about the art of the Geisha and how many years they train to become a Maiko is true dedication. We really enjoyed the show.
