You will be met at the entrance of the George Inn by a figure from history in full costume. They will guide you and your fellow travellers on a tour that will dive into the dark, disgusting and horrible side of London’s history.
During the Tour not only will you be discovering the grim realities of the past, while being immersed in the reality of the history, as you encounter characters from the very times that you explore... Encountering the history face to face!!

5.00I’m not sure what I was expecting, but it was great! A good opportunity to learn about the darker side of London’s history in a creative way. The knowledge acquired is different from your average “tour guide” education. Great acting by the tour guides as well. I ended up being the only person, and was glad they didn’t cancel on me.

5.00I really enjoyed this tour, I love knowing how things work and that’s what this tour does. I was worried it was scary but it’s not at all. Although, I will warn it has nothing to do with Jack the Ripper but rather the terrible times that people back in the day went through in London! After this I will never look at London ever the same again!

5.00Our guide Mary gave us the scoop on the seamier side of London, in Southwark, with plenty of cultural and historical information that you probably will never hear on any other tour. There didn't seem to be any question that she couldn't answer, and she kept us entertained and informed the entire time. Special shout-out to Clement, Mark, and oh dear, I forgot the other name!

5.00We arrived just before the schuled time, only to find tour had already started, if we had arrived exactly at the scheduled time the tour would have already moved on. But apart from that, the tour was brilliant. Our guide Mary B was easy to hear, engaging, informative and fun. Would do this tour again.
