5.00This was a great 4.5 hour experience. It's like a new kind of NYC spa experience. It started at 10am when we checked into a Sound Bath. It felt great to take an hour for myself. We laid down on comfortable mats with pillows and blankets on the floor. There were even small eye cushions with a cute little pillowcase. I had never been to a sound bath, it’s a meditative sound experience. The yogi played gongs and it was really nice. Afterward we had tea and went across the street for a light brunch. I even had a mimosa that was included, but most of the people didn’t because it was a Thursday morning. The lunch was just a bunch of delicious Mediterranean dips and pita bread, also some French fries for dipping. There was tea with sugar swizzle stick that was really cute. Our group was about 13 people, and we all sat at the same table. No one forced us to talk to each other, but people ended up having a lovely time. Everyone seemed to be there because they loved wellness and art. Then we went to the galleries. It is about 30 minutes total of walking. It was really fun. The art we saw was incredible to experience and was created by famous contemporary artists. We really enjoyed the whole experience, lucked out with the weather and had a great day. The mixture of art, healthy food and the sound bath made me feel calmed and inspired. I would highly recommend this tour!!
