• Mixed feelings about your bus

  It started off ok we did the redline had to switch buses because audio was not working but got a live guide and she was great . We got off at 27 for lunch and then went back to same spot to do blue line had over a ;5 min wait . The woman at that stop came back from lunch and proceeded to argue with me that we had not been waiting that long because her lunch was 30 mins like don’t argue I know how long I waited . I’m not sure why you even offer the blue it was horrible the bus driver kept stopping for 5 mins or longer and getting off and walking around and then he comes up and tells us he will be at the next stop for 5 mins and I said we need to get back to the red line switch and he left and took us to what looks liked a hub gets off and says anew driver will be there in 10 mins and left us on the bus there . Because of his nonsense and there was no traffic we missed the last Thames river tour so I paid for that for no reason and am very disappointed. Some drivers were fine but others wanted to argue . It’s says you can do the blue line in an hour. We were on it for over 2 and a half . So what could have been a great experience when downhill very quickly after we got off at stop 27. Mins you other companies had multiple buses that kept showing up

  Viator, appears to be just a booking agent for other tours, left us in the dark about where the hop on hop off stations were. First time in London and don’t have any idea, no map provided. Nothing. They were just to booking agent for this company. We found another hop on hop off on our own and purchased that. Needless to say, we paid double. Several years ago, I loved going through Viator, but I’m completely done with them. Had a horrible experience at the Tower of London also. The Tower ticket takers said they had been experiencing this problem a lot lately. Trying to get the ticket was a real hassle. It just kept putting us in a loop that never completed itself. Of course, Viator, again, was just the booking agent.

• No refund. Double purchase. Viator mistake

  I purchase 3 tickets and the LDN number wouldn't load onto the app. I did a live chat with Viator and I asked the person to refund the tickets if I couldn't get them to work. I asked him to wait to do the refund request until I had spoken to the person on site at the hop on hop off. He did the request before I had an opportunity to speak with the person. I ended up purchasing three more tickets on site and three from fire Then my request for a refund for the first three was denied so I paid $320 for three tickets for a hop on hop off bus I am not happy. I have copies of the additional tickets that I purchased and I'm still wanting to re-request a refund. The person from via Tara told me that the ID numbers wouldn't work with an iPhone and that I should try a new browser which was ridiculous because I was traveling and all I had was my phone. They weren't helpful and the tour was super expensive very disappointed that I did not get a refund and that I paid an ridiculous amount of money for a hop on hop off bus since I had to pay twice.

• Go with a different tour group

  We couldn't find the pick up start. When talking to a tour coordinator later, he assured me that getting a refund would not be a problem. Never got one.

• Poor Customer Service

  We attempted to cancel our experience due to an issue with transportation to the city. We made multiple calls, but they were unsuccessful. I also tried chatting online, but by then, they informed me that I was too late and attempted to sell me an alternative product. Unfortunately, they provided no assistance and offered poor customer service.
