This concert was truly amazing! The combination of the koto and electric guitar created a breathtaking harmony that you won’t hear anywhere else. The setlist had a perfect balance of lively, upbeat pieces and more soothing melodies, making the time pass in an instant. The venue, a traditional Japanese sento (bathhouse), added a unique charm to the experience. The cozy and intimate atmosphere made it an ideal setting for a traditional instrument concert. Another great aspect is that the instrument pairings change depending on the day, and even with the same instruments, the song selection varies. It’s the kind of event you’ll want to experience again and again. Highly recommended!

A fun unique experience to add to your itinerary!! The bathhouse is stunning and it was such a unique way to learn about and listen to traditional japanese instruments! highly recommend - I want to go back!!

I got this as a surprise experience gift for my mom and it was SO good. The space is so beautiful and such a cool way to see traditional Japanese instruments, everyone was so nice and there was a Q&A at the end to learn more about it! There was a mix of traditional Japanese songs and more modern ones including a Ghibli song :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
