A lot of the focus of Chinatown tends to be in the historically Cantonese area. In this tour you will experience the entirety of Chinatown. We'll head east to the less-touristy, more Fujianese area, which was once considered part of the Lower East Side. We'll make our way through the backstreets before arriving at the more well-known Cantonese area. Finally, we'll brush past Little Italy to the western edge of Chinatown and eat a delicious desert.

We can accommodate vegetarians, but please reach out directly with other food allergies. We'll do our best to accommodate all dietary preferences.

With the most stops of any Chinatown food tours, we’ll visit FIVE of Chinatown's best restaurants and eat dumplings, pork buns, tea cakes, and noodles. While you eat, I will let you know the history of the dishes and the history of the neighborhood. All of the places we will go are known for one item, so I will order while you eat! Other things to note: Bring warm clothes, a mask, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, a good mood and a large appetite!

Lara was such a fun tour guide. Her knowledge of Chinatown was great. We learned a lot about the area and how it changed over the years. The food choices were perfect. We definitely went off the beaten path with the restaurant choices. The amount of food and the length of the tour was perfect. We would highly recommend the tour and Lara.

Great food, interesting history and overall a lot of fun. The walk was easy with multiple stops to try delicious food. Lara was fabulous and kept us entertained with her knowledge.

So glad we booked this tour to celebrate our anniversary. Scott was a thoroughly knowledgeable and fun guide and his love for the city and its history came through. Also he introduced us to some delicious Chinese food that I can’t wait to try again in the city, accompanied by some cool history of the area!

I love doing food tour when I travel. This had to have been the best one yet, Lance our tour guide took us to some fabulous restaurants in Chinatown, places we never would have found on our own.

Delightful experience eating some very delicious food. We were taken to legit places that felt like getting a real insider's secret on the best places to eat in Chinatown. Our guide was very gracious and hospitable and added extra sunshine to the experience!

Everything was delicious and served with a side of really interesting history - both of the cuisine and the area. Our guide Lance was so informative, friendly, easygoing, professional and fun! Each of the great places we went were places that we would never have gone to on our own, but we know better now! Really wonderful tour, do yourself a favor and book it!

This experience was amazing! Lance was the most wonderful tour guide! He was full of knowledge and he shared some unique facts. The food at EVERY stop was so good! I would book this tour again the next time we visit, it was that good! I highly recommend this tour!

Loved our food walking tour of Chinatown. I went with our three adult children and we all loved it. Our guide, Lance, was the best and took us to 5 places we would have never found on our own - he also shared little tidbits of the area as we were walking from place to place. Everything we tried was delicious and their was plenty of food at each stop. Highly recommend.

This was a great tour! Lance was our guide and he was awesome. He took us to parts of Chinatown we never would have found on our own. This food tour was a gift for my son's 15th birthday and he loved it. We sampled noodles, dumplings, spring rolls and desserts from various regional cuisines throughout areas in Chinatown. Lance even set aside vegetarian dishes for us and accomodated a tree nut allergy in our group. I highly recommend this tour. It was the perfect "experience" gift.
