It is a glass platform that extends 11 meters from the cliff edge, hanging 70 meters above the Xiao Wulai Waterfall. From here, you can enjoy a clear, bird’s-eye view of the powerful waterfall and the lush forest below — perfect for stunning photos and a bit of an adrenaline rush. Just a short walk away, the Sky Rope Bridge stretches 70 meters across a deep valley. Suspended high above the forest floor, this swaying bridge gives visitors a thrilling but safe way to experience the natural beauty of the area from above. It’s especially popular among families and hikers looking for a unique and exciting outdoor activity.
Daxi Old Street
Daxi Old Street is one of Taiwan’s most charming and well-preserved historical streets. Known for its beautifully restored Baroque-style facades and traditional Taiwanese architecture, the street offers a nostalgic glimpse into the island’s past, particularly its bustling trade culture during the Japanese colonial era. Visitors can stroll along stone-paved lanes lined with heritage shophouses selling local delicacies, traditional pastries, handmade wooden furniture, and cultural souvenirs. Don’t miss famous treats like Daxi dried tofu (dougan), peanut candy, and herbal tea. The street is also dotted with old temples, tea houses, and small museums, giving travelers a chance to immerse themselves in local history and folk traditions.
