  It was interesting to see and perform the ritual in an authentic building a little off the tourist area. It seemed quite expensive for less than an hour and there was no kimono, although it was not stated to included and it seems to be an expensive activity generally, but as a short taster, it was enough for us.

  That we received 2 emails' saying we were confirmed for a 4:30 appointment and when we got there, they said we were not confirmed and wanted us to wait till 5:30. Even though I showed them the emails. I asked for a refund, and they said you had to cancel with in 24 hours. Thats crazy! I paid $167.00 for nothing!!

  We loved it, the host was so informative and patient. We learned how to make our own matcha and will now take that knowledge home with us. English was perfect and vibes were on point.

  The hostess was kind but the whole ceremony was not that interested. We tasted matcha and two tiny sweets full of sugar. We thought that it was a waste of money and time. We wouldn't recommend it- there are so many beautiful places in to spend your time instead of that.
