We offer free pickup and drop-off from any Auckland central location.
Sit back and relax on the 2-hour scenic drive to the movie set, with a stunning stop along the way for a photo and a sightseeing drive.
Explore Hobbiton with a 2.5 hour guided tour by a professional guide. Wander past the iconic Bag End and welcoming Hobbit holes before stopping for a refreshing complementary drink in the Green Dragon Inn.
Even if you are not a fan this is a must-do in New Zealand.

1.00Difficult to communicate with, they didn’t respond to cancellation in time and charged me $400 for the two of us. We got caught in the tropical storm on the South Island and couldn’t fly in. They didn’t respond in time and charged us.

5.00Warren was very friendly and informative. During most of the drive, he spoke of various topics about maori culture, everyday in auckland and about landscape. Even if we booked for lord of the rings tour, i learned about new zealand in general as well. I particularly appreciated the time slot for hobbiton tour as it was quite early so less crowds and also you make it back in time for late lunch. would highly recommend them!

1.00The tour guide never showed up. I waited an hour and a half and kept calling the company who told me the driver was on their way. Finally they told me that the driver accidentally picked up the wrong people so we were out of luck and they would just refund us our money.

5.00This was an excellent tour. Nancy was our guide and told us all about New Zealand on the bus ride to and from Hobbiton. Hobbiton itself was amazing. It was truly nice being there early before all the crowds. Bring your camera as you will many great photo opportunities.

5.00Rami was a great tour guide and the tour itself is fantastic! We were there and back again! If you’re a fan of the films, then it’s a must! But even if you don’t care for the series, this tour will make you feel like a child or a hobbit again ❤️

5.00Great experience! The grounds were lovely and the Hobbit holes were adorable! Our guides Aiman and Sol were professional and engaging. Highly recommend this activity, even for those not familiar with the Tolkien books.
