Arashiyama

・Take a ride on the Sagano Scenic Railway and enjoy the views (25 minutes). ・Walk along the riverside trail up to the observation deck and explore the bamboo grove (30 minutes). ・Stroll through the lively street with food stalls and visit Tenryu-ji Temple (30–40 minutes). Optional: ・Iwatayama Monkey Park (1 hour). ・Ride a traditional Yakatabune boat (30 minutes).

Ami was an amazing tour guide!!! She went out of her way to make sure that we had a great time, she was even able to accommodate some of the activities for members of our group who were not able to walk quite as far. This tour was hands-down, the best experience for our first day in Kyoto. This was a great overview of Kyoto and hit some of the must see sights. The driver was also very polite and professional. I would absolutely book this tour again without a moment of hesitation.

This was a great tour with a knowledgeable guide who grew up in Kyoto and a great driver, also from Kyoto. You should definitely choose this tour when in Kyoto. You won’t be disappointed.

Amy was an excellent tour Guide. She always kept eyes on us and made sure we didn’t get lost. She took a lot of pictures of us in the background and then sent them to me at the end of the day. It was a great VIP experience in a private car.
